Psycho-Pass 3 (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
It's a supbar Psycho-Pass fanfic, but an awful Psycho-Pass continuation. Just like many fanfics this one creates a conflic out of nowhere and tries to fill plot holes with concepts and terms that never were a thing before. For some reason there are "blind zones" in Japan where Sibyl system doesn't work - and this shit alone is enough to make me scratch my head and question how in the world a plot of Psycho-Pass 1 and Psycho-Pass 2 could happen if territories like this existed. Also, the original premise of the setting is a total dictatorship of Sybil, but Psycho-Pass 3 throws all ...

Death Note (Anime) add
Light *breathes*
L :"he is Kira"
Light "holds his breath for a second"
L:"wow, he figured out my master plan, I'm now 98% more sure that he is Kira!"
supportive cast: "no! he can't be Kira!"

Sue me, but the famous mind battles between L and Light were the worst part of the show for me. From episode to episode you have them circling around each other without any progression and development. Up to the memory loss arc the plot barely moves in any meaningful direction, it's all about L and Light flexing over their infinite IQ and the sheer stupidity of other characters. I mean, how is in the ...

Made in Abyss (Manga) add
Preliminary (55/? chp)

Everything about the Abyss itself is great and makes you crave for more. The mystery of what lies at the bottom, the atmosphere of the unknown, dangerous monsters, cute fluffy animals, rich fantasy flora, rare treasures and unique relics, each detail of this amazing fantasy world was crafted with love and dedication. Let's not forget the beautiful art, not only it's impressive from technical standpoint, but even less detailed panels are full of life and emotions. The setting is definitely intriguing and raises a lot of questions by the ...

Kami no Tou (Anime) add
Tower of God isn't perfect anime, but there is one thing which makes is far better than a lot of other shows in recent years.

Yes, Bam is bland, boring and overpowered, but the story is self-aware about this issue. I liked how in last episode Rachel actually adressed the problem of him being that awesome and liked for nothing. What makes Baam so special? Why did he deserve so much praise from others? I've been questioning the same thing for 13 episodes. Rachel is terrible, deeply flawed person, but still relatable to certain degree and well written. Easily the best character in show. That's why ...
