Girls und Panzer scared me at first. I was afraid it was going to be some hokey Strike Witch-isk anime. Once I saw the art work, I had to see it. They were using actual tanks, not just any tanks WWII tanks. This was right up my ally. The art was great. The tanks looked great the backgrounds great, all in all a good job. The music was good. I enjoyed the use of the different countries' patriotic songs. The characters seemed shallow at first, but seemed to grow in depth as the series progressed.

It took me a while to finish this season, I didn't want it to end. Like so much in life, it seems there's never enough time. I'm not going to go too much into the characters and story because it's a continuation of the first season. I do like the use of colors in this one better than the first season. The use of twilight and night are absolutely spot on. Though I have continue to enjoy other high school slice of life, like Azumanga Daioh and Lucky Star, none have captures the friendship, comradery and love that actually

(I thought I had written on of these before, but oh well)
K-on! became one of my all time favorites. It is slice of life that I like, and music, which I love. The character were relatable. They had depth to them and could see them walking down the street of any small town. The art was great. I love Kyoto Animation's work. They made realistic characters with pastel colors to soften them up and make them a little cartoony. The story, was surprising strong. I was afraid that it was going to be a time saver for another ...

I really don't know how to start this review. I guess the best way to start it would be to say that this movie turns everything we know about the world of Haruhi Suzumiya is turned upside down and scattered to the four winds. The "second season" was just a gap filler for the 2006 season. Most of the episodes I enjoyed and provided a lot of information left out in the 2006 season. Many things have been said about the Endless Eight arc, I am not going into them. The only thing I will say is it was just to show the extent of Haruhi's power. Strike Witches is an interesting look at history. Now every grammar school boy and girl knows how World War II started, so I won't bore you with the details(unless you want me to). This anime takes the start of WWII and gives it a twist. I am not very fond of many magical girl anime but this one was well done. The story is new and inventive. Ouran High School Host Club Was a disaster waiting to happen. Had it not been presented the way it was it would have fallen apart like a house of cards. The art was excellent. It really gave you a sense of the world through the host club's eyes. everything was bright and sun and cute. The best way to describe Pani Poni Dash! is the way Konata Izumi described it in Lucky Star, "With an anime like that you just have to go with it."
