I always give a try on any suggested anime. I personally prefer anime that has well-written multi-layered story and high production value. Nevertheless, I am really open-minded to any kind of anime.

I rate my anime for how I feel about the anime (experience, memories, entertainment value, emotions), for the influence from related anime if applicable (seasons to seasons, OVA, etc.), for the length (Not overstretched or too short for its idea) and the date of publication (A good idea is usually worth more if it hasn't been explored that much in their era).

I only include stuff I watched since I started being into anime (Summer 2007)

All right, thanks. I've been talking to a bunch of ppl, and it seems the most efficient way is to use heisig to learn kanji writing and how to recognize/build on that, and use anki to build on vocabulary.

Oh of course how can I forget. Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon 2 was probably my favorite series of the season. I didn't count it because it's a sequel though....
