I always give a try on any suggested Anime. I personally prefer psychological Anime. Nevertheless, I am really open-minded to any kind of Anime, as long as it's original and/or interesting. However, since I'm watching raw anime, I don't mind any genre at all.

--Language--
I speak French and English fluently, I'm currently learning Japanese.
I get japanese exposure every single day. That's what I do to become fluent. For me, I like to call it Second Language Acquisition (SLA). It's the broad idea of learning a new language when someone already is fluent in 1 or more languages by only getting massive exposure in the new language. I got the main ideas from Khatzu's method on alljapaneseallthetime website, complimented by other sites. I'm currently on sentence phase for those who are curious :) Not only do I watch raw Anime, but I also read raw manga.

--My Rating system--
I don't want to make reviews and recommendations because it's too long, I tend to overedit them and I would probably check everytime to see how people have found it helpful or not and stuff like that.
At the beginning, I also didn't want to rate my Anime, mainly because I couldn't put decimals. So I decided to make 3/10 the average mark for me, and then look at compatibilities :D Here's how I rate *click spoiler tag*:
1: Horrible: Very painful to watch, only have one good point and an overload of flaws.
2: Bad: Very few good things and a lot of flaws.
3: Average. There's nothing new really. It can range from good ideas with a lot of flaws to few flaws but with few good ideas too.
4: Above Average. Have brought a somewhat original and/or interesting idea(s), but still flawed. I would recommend it to some type of people.
5: Good: Very good ideas, with few flaws. I recommend to almost everyone.
6: Excellent: Bright and somewhat revolutionary ideas, very few flaws. Those I would recommend to everyone.
7: Amazing: Astonishing ideas; feeling emotional here :) The few flaws are overlooked/minor. It has some impact on my life.
8: Powerful: Touched a sensible cord. Have a lot of impact on my life. Flaws are microscopic.
9: Masterpiece: Major impact in my life, as if I was living according to its ideology. Almost no flaws at all.
10: Perfectness: My purpose of living. Relatively no flaws at all. This will take over my life. Nothing is better than this.

I would start to watch again something I dropped if recommended by someone.
If you want to take advice from my list, I'll obviously suggest those with ratings 7+. However, anything in the 5 or 6 should be watched too. Anime with 4 should be only watched for specific kind of people and less than 3 are kinda not recommended.
P.S: I didn't specify "Anime and Manga" just so that it's easier to read. But, the rating and the status (see below) are the same. The only exception is that I'm less interested in manga, and if a manga is dropped, it doesn`t always mean it's bad. Maybe I just didn't want to buy the rest of the series (or can't find it). It's because I'm reading raw manga that I bought indirectly from Japan and it cost money :D
----------
--Status explanation--
Watching - I could watch it today if I had time.
Dropped - Could pick it up again if someone recommend. But for the rest, I'll never watch those again.
Complete - Completed A to Z, even if I watched it raw.
On-Hold - plan to watch or really on-hold for a long time, but the biggest difference is that the episodes are either on my computer or I have access to it somehow. If I have started the Anime (1+ ep), it is possible I currently don't have access to further episodes.
Plan To watch - I don't have access to any of those, and might watch it someday very far.

P.S: I accept friend requests if you tell me why first.
Well, I started playing the Japanese version after watching Saki, so that's kinda why I picked up Akagi as well. :P Since there was no rule explanation in Saki, and the fact that I watched it raw, I figured I'd try to learn the game, since I had absolutely no idea what was going on at first... Now I'm even gonna buy me a tileset and try to teach friends mahjong as well. =D
Hmm, it's interesting.. Abit too dragged out though, but since it's about mahjong, I don't really care. :D Makes me just want to play more mahjong and get better at it. :P
Yeah, sure. This coming week I've gotta pack my stuff before going back to school as well, so I won't have as much time as I usually have, so I don't mind.
Let's do it again some other time, when both of us has more time to do it. :P
Lol, just look at the club page next to "Creator" if you are in doubt. Or ask. ^^
Sorry, it's just, this site lets you change usernames without deleting your account, which is nice because it's a level of customizability that other sites don't allow. So.. I just take advantage of it.
Yeah I've seen RAW anime sometimes and I even read a RAW manga yesterday, though the title was really hard to translate. Even my Japanese friends couldn't translate some of the kanji but I think it meant something like "As previously announced, 1 person will die each day..." I could read a lot of it without help, since it had furigana but it was an uninteresting manga anyways.
Well, I'll be done with work on monday, so if it's ok with you, we can do the challenge for the last 2 weeks only?
I really don't have that much time right now since I'm working, and most of the time off that I get, I spend on just browsing random sites. Pretty bad, since what I should be doing, is AJATT-style. Well, it's not like I'm in any rush to learn Japanese in 18 months though. >.<
