Haha, glad you enjoyed it =P

Hey, you hate Sword Art Online, right?
I found a trailer you might appreciate:

lol XD
I talk to friends at school, but somehow I still end up sitting around watching anime XD
But hey- I still haven't finished Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood or Death Note and I've been going at those ones for around a year now... that's like sloth pace =P
rosemu Sep 20, 2014 9:24 PM
Haha, I know how you feel! (like no one knows most of my favorite shows T_T)
I'll probably watch it after I've finished all the stuff I'm watching right now....so like a week. XD
I seriously use all of my free time to watch anime... *has no life*
rosemu Sep 17, 2014 7:09 AM
Hmmm, well now I'll definitely have to check it out! :D

Hey, is Umineko really good? I've been meaning to give it a watch for around a year now, but each time I get discouraged by some bad reviews. I'd like to hear why it's one of your favorites.
Also, how similar is it to Higurashi, since they're made by the same people?

My favorite male would be Natsume Takashi from Natsume Yuujinchou. He's just so sweet and innocent, which is a breath of fresh air from the usual perverted guy stereotype.
My favorite female is a little harder to choose, but I'd have to say Ika Musume from Shinryaku! Ika Musume. Ika is just goofy and adorable, and doesn't fall prey to the curse of fanservice.
Who's your favorite character(s)?
rosemu Sep 15, 2014 6:30 PM
Haha, that's like me with Clannad (my first anime). It had something going for it, but I felt it kind of rushed things and just "overlooked" some important details. As much as everyone praises it, I can't bring myself to say its any masterpiece.

It's kind of like how you can never completely hate your parents. =P

No, it's more like they tried to start a deep and meaningful series, but instead they just butchered the whole thing. Nothing is explained and random things just happen for no good reason. If they took the time to explain what was happening and not add so many unnecessary elements, it might have actually been pretty okay.

Haha, a lot of people seem to hate SAO. I, for one, have mixed feelings for it.
I definitely have a pet peeve for tsunderes as well. Mostly though, I hate those characters that are all about justice and refuse to even listen to anyone else's opinion (see 90% of female sidekicks -_-)
I would enjoy burning Angel Sanctuary in the pits of hell. XD It's a random OVA series, but I swear to god they just pulled some random idea out of nowhere then dumped a bucket of ridiculousness on it. >.>
rosemu Sep 14, 2014 10:28 AM
Looks like we agree on that =P
So, what's your least favorite anime? Or like a pet peeve you have in anime?
rosemu Sep 12, 2014 7:37 AM
For me it would be horror like Shiki or Higurashi and (no matter how contradicting it is to the horror genre) interesting adventures where the main character grows a lot, like Hikaru no Go and Bakuman. And, like I said before, I also have quite the addiction to the youkai or demon theme. Also, I've found myself enjoying anime that uses a lot of Japanese myth or tradition. Their culture is pretty interesting. =P
For me, when I think of a "perfect anime", I always think character and character development are the most important parts. What do you consider the "best" or "most important" part of an anime?
rosemu Sep 11, 2014 4:20 PM
It seems so. =P
What's your favorite type of anime? Like a genre or theme?
rosemu Sep 11, 2014 7:44 AM
Haha, I know how you feel with Tumblr. I had originally planned on binge watching Tokyo Ghoul, but after 3 weeks of seeing it on Tumblr, I gave in. XD
It was like that when Attack on Titan was airing too. Except I gave in around episode 17 instead because I kept seeing .gifs of the female titan and then someone spoiled its identity and I was like "oh, well no surprises for me then..." -_-
I've made it a policy of mine for the last week of an anime season to make Tumblr off limits because there are just soooo many spoilers! >.<
rosemu Sep 10, 2014 4:14 PM
Of course :D
I'm loving Tokyo Ghoul right now. It's the exact type of anime (or any story for that matter) that I LOVE. The whole the-monster-is-the-protagonist theme is soooo well done. And I've skipped around chapters in the manga, so I know to some extent what's going to happen later, and I am ridiculously excited~ >.<
Are you watching Tokyo Ghoul? If so, what do you think so far?
