I've read some Ivan/Alfred (or Alfred/Ivan?) stuff recently. I don't dislike them, but as I said I can't manage to feel completely all right when Alfred is paired up with someone but Arthur. I don't know. I'm too much of a USUK sucker. XD
Apart from my OTP, the Alfred pairing I like the most is America/Canada I think. ^^ But if it's teen!America then I really like Gilbert/Alfred. I had a marvellous fanfiction converting me to that. XD
I came across a bit of Francis/Matthew works recently (there are not enough around ;_;) and oh yes, I love them. So very much. My favourite pairing for the two characters. <3
I understand you very well about your history classes. XD I wish I still had some kind of history lessons as well just to restudy history ('cause I kinda sucked at it) with all the wonderful Hetalia subtexts. XD

Really? o_ò Because I just opened a role play Hetalia forum and this is not really encouraging. XD We still are only two people (me and a friend) so I guess it will work smoothly for the first period, but I'm pretty sure that after a while other people will join. Let's just hope everything goes fine. ^^;

Pesonally I didn't hate school because it was school. Mostly because the school system here sucks (in my opinion) and most of the teachers are incompetent or just plain stupid. =/ Otherwise I don't think school is a bad thing... (but yeah, I hated it -.-)

Yeah, Hetalia goes beyond obsession, it cannot be helped.
I think for me it's somewhat the opposite of your situation. XD Alfred/Arthur is by far my favourite pairing, but I like Arthur with a few others (even if none of them looks so right as Alfred/Arthur does) and I don't seem to like Alfred with someone else. XD Who are the few others you like him with? =3 I think I don't dislike any couple in Hetalia, some of them just look awkward or plain improbable to me. ^^;
Ludwig/Feliciano should be canon. They are just meant for each other. <3 I really love Gilbert/Ludwig too though. Love, love them. And Gilbert is awesome, but we know that. XD Su-san/Fin is completely adorable, that's another pairing I completely felt for. And Francis/Matthew, I didn't saw anything involving them but I heard of the pairing since a long time and kinda like the idea of them together, even if they still need to grow more on me. ^^

And I know it's a whole month later, but I'm happy you had a good time during your birthday. ^^ Birthdays should always be nice days for the birthday girls/boys. <3
