That's good to hear ^_^ Thanks!

Yeah, that's true xD But that's how life works ^_^

We all need sources of entertainment and that's probably why I haven't quit myself. I learned that after doing nothing but working my ass off the last 2-3 years. If you don't have anything that makes you relax and let the steam out, you will go crazy. But I did become more picky about the series I watch and read xD I've read so many school life series that they make me want to puke when I see the tag these days.
Have you tried dropping her a comment and asking for a discord or something else that you can use to reach her? :)

Yeah...Mekari got hit pretty hard because of those series...but you know how the manga community is. You cut it's head and 10 more appear to take it's place, like a hydra :D

I've been alright ^_^ I've been chilling a lot these days because the company I work at finally hired some more people that share my responsibilities near the end of last year. I'll probably travel to the sea next month since we need to start getting ready for the summer tourist season.
Other than that, I've been wrapping things up with the anime that I followed from Winter 2019 and wondering what to watch next. I also tried out a couple games like Sekiro and Metro Exodus.

Hey xD I'm back at it after a while yet again and I'm doing good these days. Thanks for the birthday wishes!

2 years will fly by like they are nothing + you probably have some vacation time every month so it shouldn't be that bad.

Yeah, the latter reason is probably the most likely one.
Anime hasn't been the same for me as well. I still manage to follow some airing series but it's not the same.
BUT not manga tho :) I manage to read a lot these days when I'm traveling to work and at work xD Reddit has been providing me with good manga and webtoons (long live Meraki Scans) for a while now.

How have u been? :)
FireHeart Sep 20, 2018 7:18 AM
Haha, thanks! It's been the same with me as well so don't worry about it. I had to deal with a ton work tasks, sickness and relationship problems, followed by a month long depression. But I'm doing alright now and I hope you are as well :)

I see ^_^ That's really good to hear :) I thought that you entered my retired MAL friends list for a moment there...:D (Which sadly has gotten pretty big over the years that I've been here)
FireHeart Aug 29, 2018 3:47 AM
Hey m8! I recently came out of hiatus so I decided to drop by.
Its sad to see that you switched sites but I hope you are doing alright!

Hi guys I have shifted to anilist and will no longer be updating my list here on MAL.

Do look me up here!

Heh, through friends of friends

Yep ^_^

Sweet :) I actually started re-reading the One Piece manga yesterday cuz I felt like re-living the adventure and my teen years ^_^

Light novels are not that different to anime and manga in that regard. They consist mostly, if not entirely, of dialogue which actually pisses me off the most since I'm a big fan of western literature and the "right way" of writing and storytelling.

National Service as in mandatory military conscription? That sucks big time >_< I was lucky enough to not attend one since they removed it from being mandatory 5 years before I graduated, so I've only done the basic military training.
FireHeart Feb 11, 2018 11:23 PM
Warframe is a game that perfect for chilling out at the end of the day :)

Yup :)

I'll be waiting for some opinions from you then ^_^ Since I'm not really into light novels to begin with. I only read the summaries if I'm really interested after watching a good anime adaptation. Like the Monogatari Series, Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry and Highschool DxD for example.

Congratz ^_^ Don't be so responsible :D You can take it easy until your mid-twenties most of the time. After that come the problems with long-term relationships, hunting for a stable job and so on.
FireHeart Feb 7, 2018 12:01 AM
It got 10x better during the last year or so. The whole management of things in that game is great and should be a model for all MMOs.

Yeah...
Love Live, The iDOLM@STER and AKB0048 seem to be loved by a lot of people in the west as well. I still haven't seen them myself but if they are similar to K-On! for example, I might enjoy watching them. The only turnoff at this point for me is that there are so many characters xD

He failed with his recent work? I'm hearing that from you. I guess that really explains a lot then.
FireHeart Feb 3, 2018 3:34 AM
I see. I wouldn't call Warframe a classic yet tho xD It still has a long way to go.

Exactly. The Japanese okatu prefer lots of waifus over anime with real substance. That's why we still see so many of these generic garbage level light novel adaptations being produced every season.

That goes for me as well but I've seen too many bad examples that make me worry a lot sometimes :( I mean, if he wants to write, he can always start a new series. He has already made a name for himself.
FireHeart Jan 31, 2018 12:49 PM
Lol. So it lost most of it's playerbase in less than 2 years? Bummer. I guess I will turn to Skyrim and Warframe like I always seem to do these days xD

They were spending too much money without managing to sell a lot of merch to compensate the losses. That's what happened xD People in Japan like different things compared to people in the west. And there's also the scummy stuff that were 100% happening in the company behind the scenes...

I'm getting a bit worried about the Monogatari Series myself. Nisio might end up destroying the franchise if he keeps releasing more novels like he seems to be planning on doing. Monster Season is focusing on Araragi and the rest of the girls lives while he's in college...nice milking material. I swear if this series doesn't end in the next 5-6 years I will start hating it.

Don't worry about it. We all have things to take care of from time to time. I feel ya.
FireHeart Jan 29, 2018 6:22 AM
I see. I'm still not sure if I should check it out. The mixed opinions I read on Steam today put me off even more.

Don't remind me about Manglobe....They had very bad resource management and that led to the studios bankruptcy. 5$ million in debt is crazy for an anime studio no matter how you look at it.

Yeah, exactly ^_^ The first one was unique while the second one was polished. Another season will probably pop up when the novel ends. From what I heard, the last two volumes will be released simultaneously and will conclude the story (13 and 14).
FireHeart Jan 27, 2018 5:38 AM
I was actually thinking about trying out Tree of Savior myself but people kept telling me that it was the buggiest game that they have ever played. So I ended up not playing it.

I see ^_^
Lol, Keima was in a league of his own (I'm still a bit salty about the ending of the manga and who he chose...)

Sweet ^_^
Oh xD That series. Yukinon was alright. I really liked the story myself but I hated the fact that they completely gutted the character designs in season 2. Especially Yui...poor Yui...
FireHeart Jan 25, 2018 2:45 AM
Yeah ^_^

Ragnarok Online was also quite the experience.

Tharja huh? My favorites were Azura and Kagero.
That really is hardcore! He's probably busy checking up on everything 24/7. If I do that I will probably get hit by a car or get fired at work xD

Haha xD How many figures do you own so far?
FireHeart Jan 23, 2018 6:36 AM
That's not a bad habit xD It saves quite a bit of time and time is precious to gamers! Good to hear that you are looking forward to it. The features that I mentioned were quite a turnoff for some people that tired the game.

Every anime fan dreams of that ^_^

I get it. Actually, Runescape was always made fun of by Lineage II and World of Warcraft fans like me back in the day xD The only game that I played a bit from the ones you mentioned was Maplestory with a classmate.

Oh God, don't remind me of gacha. I got addicted to playing one for a bit last year - Fire Emblem: Heroes. I stopped playing it because of one certain update and never looked at a gacha game again.
10$ for a figure is actually pretty reasonable. But the faggots in Japan look to charge you 10x that amount which is crazy. And the otaku there be like..."BUT MUH LIMITED EDITION WAIFU!!!"

Yeah! Her name was Kanako. I know what you mean xD
