I have never heard anyone say a new VA sounds like Omigawa Chiaki before. This one... doesn't really either, but she manages to come close. I never actually thought it was Omigawa, but it reminded me of her in places (in Kizuna Ichigeki).

lol, she doesn't sound like Omigawa at all. People always say that when there's a new seiyuu who sounds remotely "different" from the more typical young female anime voices, and it's never true, because no matter what you think of it, Omigawa's voice IS pretty unique and I've yet to hear another seiyuu quite like her.
Personally, while watching UN-GO, I was convinced she was Minako Kotobuki for some reason :/ might've been her lovely singing voice.

why it is insult? no i dont think so, she really sound like Chiaki and ppl who think that is an insult, i say they thinking and taking the thing tooo much! Chiaki is not God or holy creation...

Yeah, no way. Chiaki has like one of the most unique voices (which is good for variety). Stop using Fisher Price headphones or something. :(
