I haven't written a review in quite awhile here, so here we go.
So far I am into the 8th episode of Softenni. The story thus far revolves around Hakuou Middle School's soft tennis team. The team is basically made up of the unique characters that you find in anime full of comedy.
there are plenty of sight gags, one-liners, and fan service moments. but that doesn't take away from a serious storyline of making it all the way to the top of the Soft Tennis nationals.
Watch the first couple if you already haven't and give it a ... good watch. Laugh a little or groan a little. Always decide for yourself.

This anime has a total "roleplaying" game feel to it with its characters and the ideas of them going on hired quests to obtain items.

The story overall is a 9. I know that isn't perfect but at the end of episode 4 it just feels right.

The art is spectacular for a 9. Like I said it has that roleplaying game feel to it. It just gives me the feel that I am watching a game.

The voices I think could be a little better though. But they do have some great voice actors and actresses.

Characters are well rounded and each has ... their own part to play in the story. No one is left out.

I have to watch episodes 5 & 6 and I am hoping that they can keep the story involved and going. So far I have really enjoyed what they have created.

Overall I give it a 9. Lets see if they can keep it up.

I will have to agree with Bonta_kun with his review of this very hilarious anime. I have been watching anime for 25 or so years and this is one of the funniest ones yet.
The Marui triplets are either dangerous or insane. I feel sorry for their homeroom teacher that has to watch after them. It is gag-based and it works. Some animes just can't pull this off.
The animation I thought is pretty good. Note: I have seen some really bad animes in the past. But that is the evolution of anime.
I am only on episode 4 so ... it could get worse. We shall see in the next few months.
Watch and enjoy. Make sure you are eating or drinking anything while watching the exploits of the Marui triplets, you may just have to clean up a big mess.

Alright, anime fans. The list of winter shows has looked kind of, well, boring. But I just got a hold of the pre-release episode of Ladies versus Butlers!
I have been watching anime since the 80's and have enjoyed various types growing up. For the past few years I have really enjoyed comedies.
Ladies versus Bulters! started me off with a pretty good laugh. I must warn you that it is ecchi. So for those who enjoy a good ecchi comedy, then you are in luck. I can not say how much I will like this show ... until I watch a few episodes. As it stands I enjoyed the first.
Hopefully this will kick off the winter with a handful of good animes.
