10 - My absolute favorites. For any of these you could fairly call me a "fanboy" of the series. There are no flaws (that I'm willing to accept!)
9 - Favorite shows go here. I'd recommend these to anybody and I love them a lot. I'd rewatch and probably already have.
8 - Very good shows. Stuff that I just enjoyed the hell out of, but nothing more. Maybe it didn't make a deep personal connection, but I totally get why it's great
7 - Good shows that had some things holding them back for me. It could be the lack of characters I could connect with, or a setting I'm not overly fond of. These are still worth checking out if you're a fan of the genre.
6 - Decent stuff that left sort of a bad taste in my mouth. I finished it, but I definitely wouldn't watch it again.
5 - Very "meh" shows that I'd have trouble finding good things to talk about. However, not so actively bad that I couldn't finish it. If it got below a 5, I actively disliked it.
4 - Something in this show screams "bad." It's not absolute garbage, but that's sometimes worse - maybe it just had one critical failure holding it back from being great, and that in itself was more disappointing than a straight up bad show
3 - Very bad stuff here. This is anime that makes me feel uncomfortable and I wouldn't finish it of my own accord, usually.
2 - Dreadful. Stay away. Literally no redeeming qualities.
1 - So bad it's good! I don't care what it does to my averages, 1 is now reserved for the kind of stuff you'd bring to a "Bad Movie Night."

Pretty sweet. I feel sorry for you about Daitarn. Cool in theory, but bad in practice. Neo vs Shin redeems Go and Brain Powered is Tomino on happy pills.

Oh but congrats, I always thought you surpassed me anyway. The reason I stated that was that I was surprised about the difference. You having more days or anime won't affect my opinion of you.

Awesome Josh, we are now at eq power level. Tbh, I am working and also rewatching some favorite series at the moment. My lust for new series is coming soon... I feel it in my gut.
