At any rate, I don't have a Skype account but I suppose I could make one. Though, to be honest, I'm not entirely sure that I want to.
What do you do if you're not interested in talking to a person any more?
[Do you just leave? Do you come up with an excuse? "I'm done with this," hardly sounds appropriate]
As a forewarning, I'm not too good at transitioning out of a conversation, I just kind of meander out of it.

I'd just like to congratulate you on simultaneously being a fervid female anime fan and kind of attractive at the same time [and pretty well spoken I suppose but pffft, who cares about that?]
Truly a talent for multi-tasking if ever I saw it.
At any rate, you're pretty barren in the manga category;Though I myself can scarce be called an oracle of the written medium and thusly am not well versed in their likeness, I cannot help but ponder; doth my paltry knowledge of manga be sufficient to facilitate thine own journey? If ye would but consider it, then perhaps thou might find thyself well enthralled [or at least find ample diversion] amongst the many alluring pages of Hoshi no Samidare or Onani [Wank] Master Kurosawa.
In the last week or so I've come to discover that, just as there are a lot of novel experiences to be found in watching anime, the same can be said of it's black and white counterpart. Were my words to provoke some manner of inquiry, then feel free to message me and I'll give you a better synopsis then can be found on MAL.

Maybe I didn't express myself properly. What I meant is that the specials are not important to the story. Even if you skip them it won't affect the plot continuity whatsoever. So, just because they're gory and violent doesn't actually give grounds for a higher rating. At least that's how I see it.

Well, yeah, the specials were everything you said, but they add little if nothing to the story. I just don't see how they could be rated higher than the actual series, which was really good.
