Preliminary (647/? eps)
If you aren't into extremely long series then stop now because when this review was written there were nearly 798 episodes and 19 movies to the series. However, if you're okay with long series that have quite a bit of a repeat in patterns than you'll be just fine.

Detective Conan is about an High School Ace Detective that was well-known for solving cases but one day he "up and vanished" only to be replaced by a pint-sized shrimp known as Conan Edogawa. He stays with a family friend, Mouri Kogoro, who was a detective as well but unfortunately not so well-known...

Himeyaka na Tousaku is a short series that follows the main character Miyuki who is a beautiful rich girl who lost her mother a few months ago and her father suddenly disappeared. Currently the leader/head of the household/family meaning she calls the shots. Mikage, her butler, lives in her mansion and is her only emotional support that she has.

So, I read this because the summary sounded amazing, don't you think it's interesting?

Preliminary (1/5 chp)
Mod note: This review was originally posted for "Sawaruna Kiken!" and has subsequently merged into "Kare wa, Ano Ko no Mono".

So, instead of the cliched guy helping the girl overcome something the girl gets to be the one to help the guy overcome his problem with germs. As it's a one-shot it leaves off where you'd like to see more... ...

Normally I wouldn't choose to watch OVAs because I like things that display the whole series however my curiosity got the best of me. I read the manga, granted it has been a bit, so watching the OVA sometime after left me feeling a little biased but at the same time critical.

[Story]

The story was tangible and there were some differences... in the beginning it felt a little "choppy" to me like someone spliced and diced some of the parts before putting it together. Again, that was like the first 5 minutes of the first OVA. The further into the OVA it got and then moving ...

Hiyokoi (Anime) add
Hiyoki is a cute OVA and it is unfortunate they made just one but this is a great way to introduce everyone to get them hooked. The sweet and shy Hiyori and her opposite Yuushin is the cool and popular guy of the class and just to display the further contrast is their heights.

I have been unable to fully read the manga presently but the OVA does do justice on the opening chapter(s). There isn't too much difference making it an easy transition for those who are curious how the series goes.

Essentially watching this was a nice breath of fresh air and makes me want ...
