I got the author's mean about the same gender love can only be solved by either love from opposite gender or hooked up with your partner. There are many peoples out there who despise and feel disgusts towards homosexuality and i know right how they feel since i'm used to be one of them but rest easy,i won't offended any lez nor bi here :)
This show is published in 90's and it is proved by its art old style. This is my first time to picked up such an old manga but despite that it actually was quite enjoyable. This manga may be tagged as

shoujo ai but it never got into it in more serious way than stare into other. The character were likeable at first but as the chapters go on,it slowly and steadily crushed the likeable meter to a pulp. Take an example on tomoka [spoiler] she is attracted to serika,be it for appearances or her actions,in fact we all know she likes serika to the point she will keep making moves on her despite she knows serika's 'real gender',that said it means she is fully aware that she is a lez and she even approve it herself. Despite knowing she is in that category,she feels disgust to the point to wipe her hands off after do a handshake with a same species as her. It just totally irritated me that i really want to yell at her " Don't do that damn crap! You and her are same species so why you feel disgust about handshake with her?! If you hate lez so much then you should hate yourself more to be one!" [/spoiler]
I was enjoying this show at first until i read a spoiler about [spoiler] tomoka ends up with arata in the end if you read the RAWs [/spoiler] . That fact is what makes me turned my back on this show and give it a 4/10 ratings. Overall,if you read this for girlxgirl,i suggest you to don't read this manga because it will just be a time-waste and if you don't give a shit about girlxgirl and can read japanese well [spoiler] WARNING : The english translations are only available up until 12 chaptera [/spoiler] ,then i suggest you to read this since it is pretty cute for old manga

This anime is probably the best yuri anime out there with actual decent plot,art and romance.It will sometimes leave you in confused because it tries to rush out things which should be done in slower pace but all in all,it is a good series

The story is rushed,for most of the series i was wondering,"why?" and only find the answers after marathoning the manga

the art is good and cute enough for a low budget anime,it is cute and gives off moe-feelings

Each sfx fit each moments perfectly and classical musics as soundtracks is just awesome

I rarely give anime a '10' especially the ones who is still ongoing and Akatsuki no Yona really surprised me and took '10' outta me with such a pleasant way of anime watching experience

The basic story isn't anything new or special but it really delivers how the awesome development will be happened really well. Each episode has a fresh funny cute moments and there are moments for romance,the timing for action is also hit on the spot

I like the character's design,they are all handsome and beauty and each design can pictures each characters' personalities well,the art for actions and comedies aren't

Each moments in Akatsuki no Yona has sfx and sounds which really fit the situtaion well,Funny momens have cute sfx,sad moments have a heart-breaking sfx and ect. For OP and ED songs,Akatsuki no yona doesn't have an OP song with lyrics like others has,But who cares ? its Op song really fit the anime after all,Its ED song has lyrics and portrays such a sad yet brave situtation which fit the anime too.

What i like the most of Akatsuki no Yona is Its characters. Each of them have a great and unique personalities which made it awesome combination when they develop with each other. Yona is a princess,yet she isn't a lame princess which will run for help with tail between her legs and need someone to pampered her,instead she is a brave,cool and funny princess who will take weapons in order to protect somone dear for her. Hak is hella strong and is a "Thunder Beast" which won't lose in strength with the dragons,Yun is a genius-bishounen and is really cute when he praised himself,Each dragons are cute and handsome which will make everyone like them and when younger,Su-won is likeable and cute,but as he is now,i just want to kick the heck of his ass to a mustard-pit

Am i enjoying this anime,you ask ? of course,I am! This anime is very well-balanced and cute so there is no way I won't enjoy such a masterpiece anime like this
Overall,this anime is an awesome anime which pop out to the surface once in a while,once you step your eyes to the world of akatsuki no yona,you won't be able to get out of them without crawl for more in your edge of seat while waiting for next week

At first,i want to tell that i watched this anime for its characters' development and not for its hentai-side. So,Imay not live up to hentai-lovers expectations out there

Soredemo sekai wa utsukushii ( The world is still beautiful ). As described on the tittle,this anime really portrays the beautiful side of the world. At first glance,it just looks like your typical prince and princess get together life happily ever after shoujo anime,But don't let your first impression fools you. This anime really picks awesome songs for opening,ending and each moments in it. For seiyuu to sing and fill the main character's voices isn't an easy task but she did it really well.When she speaks,she isn't showing a wimpy-squeak voice,instead it shows a brave yet kind voice and when she sings,it shows an elegant and kind voices which makes me shiver in aweee-ness. And for each moments,it can insert the songs in without any annoyance to the mood,the rain's sounds,the songs' sound,the cloud's sounds,the wind's sounds,the supporting characters' sounds, each of them is beautiful and really fits the anime well

each of character in this anime is interesting and likeable,i can't help but to try to understands each of characters' feelings and find them reasonable for their act. The specially interesting characters are livius and nike. Nike isn't your typical lady-like princess,instead she is a tomboy and often do something you never expect a princess would do,but she is who she is and it is interesting and succeed to charmed every viewers. Next,we have a king who has conquered the world 3 years after he took the throne who unexpectedly is a young brat. He may seem like one but in inside,he is even much more mature than a 60 years old man all thx to the sour past of his life. Both of them is interesting but the others are also likeable,they are also well-done sketched so you will have a hard time to seek for their flaw

this anime has a great romance,a fantasy kind of magic which you can't grouped as magic either,a lot of not annoying comical comedy in each episode and a great voice singing in each episode so it is an OF COURSE i'll enjoy this anime a lot

Overall,this anime is a great flawless anime which will worth for a marathon and rewatching. If you like a romance anime with great art and songs then i'd highly recommend this to you. Trust me,once you give it a shot,it will make u fell in love in it

To be honest,idk why i keep on watching this anime until the end. It starts with MEH and ended with EGH?! WHAT WAS THAT?!

The art is quite good and i don't find any problem in it except for 2 things : Eyes and Boobs.First,The Eyes,somehow i don't like hatsumi's eyes,it gives off an Ecchi chill and it somehow creeps the hell outta me. Second,Boobs. The size was okay but on some scenes,there are wrong positions in it.I dont really care if if it is to make it looks more ecchi or anything but, Hell it was too far from realistic. I know Right that this anime is under ecchi genre but when i check on google-sensei,i can't find any ecchi pic in its results and so the stupid side of me made an expectation just to be crushed to the ground

i like 2 characters in this anime : Hatsuki and Youko. Both of them are awesome in one aspect : they can fight for her own self and don't need others to clean up their mess. A dark-haired cool bishoujo with a wonderful swordmanship also a purple-haired bishoujo spy with a kick that left u in awee~~ sounds interesting,doesn't it?
~For other characters,i don't have any problem nor liking in them

first of all,i'd like to apologize to yuri fans out there for any offends i may caused in this review. Second,i'll tell y'all first that this review isn't mainly about how the series goes because i think u can see how it goes clearly on the synopsis,this review is more likely how i enjoy the show and how i feel towards the story,characters and others aspect which built this anime up to the surface. Third,i'd like for everyone knows that i'm straight so i may can't bring up a good reviews as everyone has expected to read but don't worry,even though i'm straight i enjoy

this anime quite a lot to the point where i want to do a review which i rarely do before
all of u may be wondering now , "why a straight like her watched a yuri anime and even made a review of it ?? is she mocking us ?? is she making fun of us? is she demeaning us ??seriously wth is she thinking ?" and ect
i'll tell u right before hand that i'm not here to mocking u nor making fun of u. actually,idk why am i watching this anime myself,maybe i'm just lost and want to know myself more whether i'm still straight or not..well,u can say i'm a straight that trying to peek on yuri's lion hole
ok then here we go reviewing~~~
1.STORY & ART
~~i don't have any particular problems with both. Instead,i'd say that the art is nicely done and the story plot twists is quite interesting,so i'll give it both 7/10
2.CHARACTERS
~~one elements which make me stick on to this anime until last episode is the characters which is quite interesting to be watched also,i can't help but to think shizuma as bishounen and amane as oji-sama(prince) and they made me realize that i'm still straight,so i'm quite grateful to them. With that in mind,i continue on to the last episode and i'm glad i did,it was totally worth it and so,i give it 8/10
well,overall,this is a great show,just watch it and u'll know wht are the good points of it later or sooner
ok now this is about my comments and complaints on the show so don't take it to heart,just take this as a sobbing from a lil child ;)
i don't reallly understand about the etoile things,at first it looks like a normal model-for-students-like election. but,if it is really like that then why is almost everyone make a fuss over it ?? then at some points,it turns out to be a wedding-like ceremonial and at last episode,shizuma looks as she is a guy who snatched the bride-chan away from a wedding..ughh,i really can't understand it well *sigh*
now i've said it,i felt much better

If u aren't perverted then when u want to watch this anime,you will wavering because of the ratings which said "mild nudity" but don't worry,there is no visible and obvious nudity like ones in pervy anime at all. It is a truth that there are some scenes which male MC is forced to take a bath in same tub with some of fem characters coz the fem characters get in on their own even though they know that male MC already in the tub. But trust me,their body isn't being exposed or anything. So,don't worry,you wont see any ecchi nor hentai scenes in it :)

first, Story
~as i said before,the story in this anime is cute and sort of realistic. The ending is also worth of applause. i'd like if this anime has a sequel,but well,even if there is no sequel for it,i think the ending is good enough coz there isn't much of thing left unanswered and i'm satisfied enough with it :)
and so i will give it 7/10
second,art and sound
this anime have an outstanding art and the sound also suits the mood that this anime makes very well,may it be background songs,sounds effects,opening and even endings songs,it all left a deep impression on me, a well-done job on art and sounds indeed
and so i will give'em both each 8/10
third,characters and enjoyments
how to say this..at earlier episodes i though the amle MC will definitely end up with one of fem MC since the anime gives a lot of focus on this girl and so i'm kind of lost 1/3 of my interests in this anime. But,later,the mood in series changes and the neko club turns the story and characters development into something far different from earlier episodes. at first,the characters are all in for one ending then it turns out to be a harem fantasia, then later it turns out to be love triangle which makes me curious abot what is this anime creator really thinking ? but that is the interesting part which makes me run a marathon for this anime
and so i will give'em both each 7/10
overall,i enjoy this anime and will recommend it to you if you lkes something that confused u in progress but ended in a wonderful endings. also,be patient to sit through out the first haf of series,it may seem like an obvious ending at first half but don't let it make u stop. Keep contiues on because that isn't the "real ending". The real ending is a lot more cuter than what you though what it was.

i was used to watch shounen manga like naruto,bleach,fairy tail,eyeshield 21 and one piece since i was on my 2nd of elementary sch
and someday i stumbled upon this anime after i watched last episode of fairy tail and i thought i will kill some time on this anime until the nextepisode of fairytail comes out (a total coincidence and unintended watch-intentions) and thus,i gave this anime a shot
this anime is the 1st shoujo genre anime i ever watched in my life and without i notice,this anime make me fell in love with the story and somehow i wish i can be like misaki, a strong

independent girl who stands on their own foot and won't be such a wimpy pain in ass crybaby girl.
And that been said,this series had give me a lot of turning points of beliefs,dream and my point of views on girls and boys relationship (girls must be strong n never let a boy get the better of them by using their weaknesses,instead they must defend theirself from the own-amusement-searcher boys)
overall,if u are a newcomer on otaku world like how i am, i'd highly recommend u to watch this series and if u r a long time otaku then i'd highly recommend u to watch this anime too,i can promise after u watch this anime, it will make u fell in love with anime more,more and more.
Either way,it doesn't matter,whether u r new or long time member, I'D HIGHLY AND DEFINITELY RECOMMEND U TO WATCH THIS (this anime is a MUST watch)

for u who dont like indirect roamnce,i'd recommend u to STAY AWAY as far as u can from this anime but if u want a great jug of laughter then u can give this a shot :)

ok with dense male mc or indirect romance but this anime has way too many in it. it even turns out like it has nothing to do with romance at all n just telling us about a manga artists,otaku and this one girl who places an unrequited crush on this one boy and each of episode turns out to be just like a comedy parody
overall,i just enjoy this anime in its comedy and dropped it in episode 8 since my main focus is romance
i think my prob in this anime is just i dislike how dense the male mc is and how their story telling doesnt even try to put on some romance n just end up to be a comedy parody
about the sound n art i think there is no prob in it,i'd say they are quite appealing except the design of nozaki
