I was really surprised with this anime.
The story is pretty good, kinda typical in some parts, but ultimately very well written.
I like the characters, i do have a little gripe only because i wish that the series was long in explaining some of the relationships between character, or some stuff that happened afterwards. (i.e. the twins)
I really like the ending, one of my favorites.
If you're into romance and drama, this is for you.

This is a very touching anime, good romance, good drama.
If you aren't into drama or romance, well maybe you like music. Because music is what makes this anime so sweet to the ears. Personally i love the music, once i got my guitar i was like "ok, time to learn some Nana songs" because yes they are that good I really don't know what else to say. In an anime like this you can't really gripe with the decisions the characters make because their decisions are what make the anime the type of anime that it is. A drama. Definitely should check it out if you haven't

My roommate recommended that i watch this...and there went about 3 days i should have spent studying...
I really enjoyed this anime. Good story. Good characters. It leaves you wanting more though.... I always wanted to see what the hell death was hiding under that mask and about the other death scythes Favorite part: "Death: What about [South America]? Zombie Sid: Yeah...they aren't taking our calls..." ...

Compared to the first, i think this is the worse one.
I don't know why but i found it harder and harder to care or even pay attention to the story or the characters. But i guess i was just expecting something different. I wanted more drama i guess... considering the premise and it being a sequel. More of a conflict that would affect the characters, mainly the cross-dressing one. It seems like it this anime had a hard time focusing on the characters. It tried to have a main focus of the lesbian bleeder, and the cross-dressing well cross dresser. I would have liked ...

If you like action, this anime could go either way. It can either be really awesome, or just good. Personally this is one of my favorite anime.
The Humanoid Typhoon, that there is just badass... The characters are really well developed, they are diverse. You got your alien man who's an ace gunman but is devoted to not killing, and is devoted to donuts, drinking and dames. Ex-priest who carries his burdens (i.e. giant cross) and yes he is badass. Two women who are not annoying but allow for some funny moments and give insight to this mystery man. And finally the alien man who wants ...

But seriously, this story is just amazing. The characters Jin and Mugen are complete opposites, yet equally as awesome! Fuu eh well at least she wasn't incredibly annoying, trust me it could have gone a lot worse. Needless to say the characters are diverse, and it's cool to see them interact the way they do. Two amazing swordsmen make a promise to a whiny girl, and instead of chopping her to bits, they keep their word. That makes them more likeable characters, you want them to be good. I do have one gripe, and yes it is a SPOILER let me ...

I like the premise, i have a very wide span of interests, and it's pretty funny too!
There's not much to say about this show, its just ok. If you're into the synopsis, you'll most likely enjoy it, and if you're not, you won't. If people have said this is like the reverse of Ouran, eh...sorta. Technically yes. But ultimately no. It's just not as good.

I remember my cousin and i, big fans of the original fma, watching a couple episodes in english and him saying "It's cute but yeah no thanks..." So i watched the whole season in Japanese, and coincidentally so did his older brother. So when we were all together again (because they are both in the Marines) we we're talking about how f-ing awesome it is. So the story ends about 30 hours and $200 later with us having bought all the seasons and watched it that week. Incredible story. I was reluctant to watch this series. It was on my to watch list for about a year. But tonight i've watched the first two seasons through and through and now i'm telling myself that i should have watched this so much sooner.
The story really reminds me of fullmetal alchemist brotherhood. And in a lot of ways it is. To simplify, Zero no Tsukaima is like an opposite of fullmetal. Where fma had a lot of action and little romance, this has a similar story that is heavy on the romance and light on the actual action. And there's a purpose for this. Fma ... |
