This is a nice diversion, a wholesome piece of simple entertainment and an all around fun few hours of showtime.
The main characters are goofy and likable with Mathias being close enough to omniscient but needing to start from the beginning to compete for power in all the combat and warfare. He does it intentionally, hoping to overcome limitations he couldn't surpass while still being at the top of the world.
It's a decent premise that neither brings you out of immersion nor brings any deep or true points to bear. It's just... entertainment. The genre is OP main character goes through new life like

This season was filler. I sort of liked it but not as much as the other seasons, but when the filler ended it's almost completely ignored and in fact some of it contradicts what happens later, or won't happen until much later. As such it was a bit of a letdown. You can skip this season and keep going, the rest is fantastic.
