I feel I need to write this review just so that the people like me, who were tempted to not watch Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Ren due to the collection of unfavorable reviews on the page, can actually give the anime a chance!
I thought this sequel was great! Sure the story and romance in the worlds most slowly progressing relationship does not reach amazing new heights but that does not mean that the anime is not highly enjoyable. Well this is a fan disc episode.
That pretty much sums it up to be honest, your favorite colorful haired basketball players will even remind you of the fact that you're watching a fan disc episode while you're watching. The episode really is just a recap of the events leading up to Season Three with a lot of quality jokes and banter from the Miracles and Seirin crew. It's nothing to add to the story but it's definitely a fun watch and getting to see all of the main characters get together and talk about their games makes it worth it. |
