Basically a lazy ass games design student with aspirations of becoming an artist for games with a manga/anime art style e.g. FF series and kingdom hearts
My favourite kind of animes is actually Romance and drama so it shouldnt be a problem to give you some recommendations :). I will give them to you later, if Im not busy with working.
like SAO in terms of being inside a game world you could try Log Horizon or .hack for example. like IS, in terms of harem and stuff, try Freezing( same type of story aswell), or my Harem favorites, Highschool DxD and Highschool of the Dead ;)

These are my favourite Rom-Coms. Try them out. Toradora and Clannad also are slightly dramatic but not much.
