Now I have started Aikatsu after all, and what can I say, it's the feel-good idol experience I was looking forward to seeing, without any needless drama. Having such a show to return to in times of trouble will serve me well. Aoi is such a cutie

About to watch episodes 14-18 of Re:Zero right now. The amount of highly varying opinions I heard already can't be summarized in a few sentences anymore, especially people's reactions to ep15. I can probably tell you my entire spectrum of moods the next time I write a comment here :D

I'm always adding to my music library, and eventually looking back on how my music taste developed over the course of the years. There are times when we don't watch a lot of anime or play any games, but music can't easily escape us.

Gosh, this picture of Aoi driving the car on top of your anime list always gets me, and lets my imagination run off into a nice direction. Your name and mere presence is my daily reminder to look forward to this series. And with the slowly shrinking PtW list, I will start it eventually.

Oh yes, the antagonist of Monster, and the ways of being great even during moments of a lack of presence. He will get under your skin, most certainly.
Nijiiro Days always knows how to surprise me, especially after moments where I think that it's starting to lose steam, suddenly bam, unexpected new development (ep20 was just wow).
By now I've also heard a lot of good things about Re:Zero, and how it might have the chance of becoming my favourite time travel anime. Will definitely give it a shot as soon as sufficient episodes are released!

Honestly I'd love to see more episodes of a lot of anime I am watching right now. But you know, it might stop us from trying new shows which have the potential to be equally as good. One of the rare advantages of having a ton of anime to choose from each season.

Too much to watch, too little time! Unlike last season, even slice of life is going extremely strong and numerous this time, and with Aikatsu Stars we've also got something new on that front. Talk about being reminded of what I am still missing out on...
Would you start such a perilous RPG adventure if you had a priestess like Mary in your party?~

Mirai Nikki is okay... somewhat, however this formula of one antagonist each week got on my nerves eventually. Thrillers on a psychological and logical basis, such as Liar Game or indeed Monster, are a lot more to my taste, unless I'm in the as-many-enjoyment-inducing-situations-as-possible anime mood.
A relatively fresh recommendation is Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu, rightfully declared as the anime of the last season by most. And with 12 episodes a lot shorter than Monster, in case you need a breather.

You got great taste in anime girls too.

MAL is such a volatile being. It keeps distracting me, but I still think that I don't spend enough time on it.
Grimgar and the Rakugo show are definitely my favourite anime of this winter season. Coincidentally they both took the mature approach to their content that a lot of younger viewers can't get warm with, and as long as we see them being produced every now and then, I don't have to fear that Japanese otakus are only susceptible to mindless entertainment fodder. And yes, definitely, we need more Grimgar!
I don't like Amanchu as much as Aria yet, however I seriously hope that this changes with help of the upcoming anime adaptation, breathing additional life into these quirky girls and their unique hobby. For now though, we've got the spring season starting, and this one also provides a lot of potentially great slice of life!

I shouldn't have. It is too much optimism for my soul to handle. Speaking of souls, it had a lot of soul to it which is probably why I liked it.
It is got that undeniable spirit, whatever that means.

Oh sorry about taking it as such then. I like people who invest some time in implementing something about them. To me, your account is lively and demonstrates your endeavors into your hobbies but then again it's your personal mileage so feel free to adopt what suites your fancy :)

I'm kind of stagnant on anime/manga. As you can see I have made way towards Aria The Natural and now again dead set on watching nothing but as soon as I overcome my laziness I'd definitely resume it and finally savour the Origination since it seems to be prevailing most of favs on MAL.

K-On! is also on my mind since it got luxury of being mentioned in your about me.

Well thanks, tbh you really pulled one of the most honest thoughts and presented them with innate sarcasm. (sorry if I'm going somewhere wrong there)

Also, saw your favorite episodes list. Mutual consents on Mononoke, HxH and Texhonlyze.

I like your "About Me" section :)

Seems to be quite usual for a lot of people, to take longer anime breaks after one or two years of full activity, only to come back after a while with even more zest.

The only two shows of this spring season I actually enjoy are KinMoza2 and Hibike. In case you want to watch something SoL-ish, they could be right what you are looking for.
And similar to the upcoming summer season, the anime I'm looking forward to are NNB2, Working3, and Charlotte to some extent.

Concerning Shirobako, I initially dropped it after two episodes, because I thought that watching an anime about anime production is kinda unnecessary if I can watch the same content in a more realistic form if I choose real life reports and stuff. But two months later a friend told me that this anime is about more than just the working content, and that it actually showcases amazing character development. So I gave it another chance, and lo and behold, suddenly I liked the characters, their interactions, and especially Aoi simply impressed me with how she managed to do more and more.
Also the way it didn't deviate into cliche waters. Mainstream anime would have made Shizuka the main seiyuu for the anime they produced in the second half of Shirobako. The way she contributed with her voice in the end made it all the more striking, making the last two episodes such a feast. I should watch them again to give you a better insight of what I think. An anime to say the day ~

That's great to hear man. The worst purpose of them all is still the best one you can eventually find.
Xiaraith Jun 23, 2015 8:15 AM
Noooo, don't leave just like that. This last log-in of one month ago doesn't look appealing at all !
It’s time to ditch the text file.
