Just for the information.

The first Episodes and the following first Episodes can be quite average.
I know that it can be for many people. So maybe for you as well.

But it will improve a lot afterwards.
So I hope you will keep on watching Gintama

Oh as for Sengoku Basara, it's overly-ridiculous and that's the point of the show, so if over-the-top things are not your style don't bother, many people watched it in hopes for historical accuracy and to them it was like a slap in the face, but if you keep an open mind you'll be alright.

-I like episodic anime if done well, I'll check it out
-I've been always reluctant to add ef: A Tale of Melodies to my list, but considering my tastes changed drastically I'll try to watch it
-Kaiba is one of those hit-and-miss anime, but it looks interesting
-Hmm.. doesn't look like my thing
-I actually didn't watch Steins;Gate yet, it's just on-hold because I def want to watch it as soon as possible but *sighs* laziness
-Heard good stuff about it
-I love Gainax works, will def see those two, they remind me of Top wo Nerae which I love very much
-I know this show, people always recommend it to me, I don't know why I haven't watched it yet...
-It looks weird, good weird I mean...

Hello :D yes Kuuchuu Buranko is really an underrated gem wish there was a show similar to it :( and the humor of PSG is not exactly for everyone, but gosh I loved Panty.

Well, I don't mind recommending you things just don't come after me with an axe if they're not to your tastes:

-I noticed that you liked Clannad, so why not give Air a chance?
-if you don't mind simple slice-to-life anime and yuri themes then Aoi Hana is a good show to watch
-B Gata H Kei is about a perverted girl and it's really funny
-Binbougami ga! this anime is just brilliant, see for yourself
-I know that a lot of people disliked Clannad Movie but I personally loved it, why not give it a chance?

-Lovely Complex
-Kuroko no Basket
-Nana
-Sengoku Basara
-Paradise Kiss
-Summer Wars, honestly the characters suck but the action made it interesting

That will be a big NO lol I own the first 3 volume and resist its temptation so far xD I'm really impressed of how closely the anime is following the manga plot, you don't see many directors who does that, and I really hope they keep it this way. Definitely will crawl its way to my favorite list!
