Good tip. I'll have to check it out then!

It was interesting. I'm glad I binged watched it all at once, but it felt unnecessarily convoluted still to take it all in. (I can't imagine watching it as it released... I'd have forgotten everything.) Fifth movie was my favorite of the bunch, probably cause it was so messed up. I'll get around to watching those two at some point... the last movie left me disturbed enough (stupid drool) that I needed a break, ha.

Man, if it's weaker than the Fate route I guess I'll pass on that series. All I'd really heard/known about Tsukihime was the anime series was about as bad of an adaptation as the original F/SN anime was. Thankfully we'll be getting part 2 of UBW very soon! :D It's probably what I'm most looking forward to next season, at least off the top of my head.

It's up THAT high? *looks* Man, it doesn't deserve to be ahead of shows like Bebop, Mushishi and Monster, but what do I know.

I'm still debating if I want to do the movies chronologically or in release order to be honest. I've heard strong persuasions for both sides, but it seems like either order will lead to confusion just because of how the story is told. Would you say that chronological order would be better? I'm not attached to the idea that you have to watch things in release order the first time through...

Your Lie in April isn't really all that much about classical music. I mean, it's there, but it focuses more on the drama over anything else. (YMMV on if the drama is actually good drama or not - I haven't been impressed by that aspect of the show, but a lot of people have really liked it.) At any rate, it's not as musically focused as Nodame Cantabile. If I were you I'd give it a shot.

I've heard a lot of good things about Maria the Virgin Witch! It was one of those shows I was on the edge about watching early in the season, so I figured I'd wait until the end (or near it anyway) and make sure it was good before starting. Glad it's held up! I'll have to give it a spin at some point. Probably going to do the same thing with Shirobako... apparently that one has held up really well too.

Thanks. ~

I'm not the one who made it; I just got it from the list themes thread on MAL. The posters do get in the way sometimes, especially if you access it on a tab or something, but overall, I like it and it works well on my laptop. Yes, Robin is cool. ^_^

Ahh if Durarara's boring then I'll just wait for the hopefully better seasons to come out. I had a hard time finishing the end of the first season because I didn't care about the plot.

Interesting list. If you just stick to that list you'll have plenty of shows to choose from! (Good to know some of the stuff I plan to watch is on there, too...)

At this point, I've watched quite a few shows with absolutely no ending (and games, for that matter). I feel like at least the main arc finished on episode 39 in 12 Kingdoms, so it being incomplete didn't sting as bad as other instances where nothing at all got wrapped up. (Those actual last episodes are pretty pointless; I wouldn't even bother honestly.) I almost dropped 12 Kingdoms in the first few episodes myself, but powering through was worth it.

I'm enjoying Yuri Kuma for what it's worth. It's a tall order for him to top Penguindrum and Utena (two of my absolute favorites) but I feel like he got full reign to go nuts with all his crazy ideas in Yuri Kuma. And when he gets crazy ideas, it gets incomprehensible...

Is Durarara holding up well? I might binge seasons of that when I get free time... I get the feeling if I tried doing it week to week I'd forget everything XD (I want more Shizuo and Celty basically)

It's pretty interesting so far and definitely reminds me of the 12 Kingdoms. I'm enjoying it, but from what I can pick up on, I don't think this season is going to end on a note that's really conclusive in any way. (It's pretty slow-paced too.) So if I were you, I'd probably wait. I hope this show gets enough popularity to get the second season it'll need... but who knows.

Enjoying the Yuri Kuma Arashi goodness?

Hi friend requester :) Nozaki-kun was such an underrated show. It's one of my favorites to come out this year!
