Hey there! My name's Sir_Zedmore! I've joined the MAL site to record the anime I've watched since I was 9, but it's been fun meeting all of you as I keep track of my hobby. Ever since I watched my first anime that wasn't my childhood Pokemon which I had been watching for as long as I can remember, I started to explore the world a bit more. My first serious anime was the original 2003 adaptation of Fullmetal Alchemist - a show that has stayed my favourite anime since then. I haven't read much manga purely because I have practically no access to it, but I have read chunks of Fullmetal Alchemist and Boku No Hero, and started Bleach and, in order to solve a problem I encountered in the One Piece experience, well... One Piece. My other hobbies would be video games, playing piano, writing stories and drawing. I aspire to become an author and the philosophies of anime characters with big dreams such as Deku and Luffy have helped me get closer to that goal. I'd like to catch up with, if possible, One Piece. I'm also probably not going to join your club unless it's highly active. I hope you've got to know me and that we can be friends.

How do I decide what anime to watch?
There are three categories to deciding what I want to watch, ranked in order of significance, using my 'S4' system
1. Sequel/Spin-off
If a new season has come out to almost anything I have watched, I'll watch it - unless I really didn't like any of the seasons.
2. Seasonal
I like to pick from seasonal anime, often ones I've added to my FAL team so I can support them properly.
3. Suggestions
If a friend of mine is enjoying an anime, I'll likely watch it too.
4. Score

I want to become more advanced into the world of anime. 2024 is only my third year of watching anime properly (I watched Pokemon when I was younger, but so did many, and I didn't watch any other anime for a long period of time) so I want to become a proper member of the community with 1000s of shows under my belt. To do this, I want to watch all of the top anime, which I do using the MAL score.

I've watched a lot of great anime including Hunter x Hunter, (controversially) My Hero Academia and more, but my favourite anime is probably close to what you expect... but not what you think.

No, I didn't not say the full title. My favourite anime is Fullmetal Alchemist, the 2003 adaptation. The story's philosophy and themes have always been stronger for me in this version.
