I was born in VN and have lived till being 9-year old. later my parents travel abroad to work. then I kinda was abroad till I finish the college this year. therefore, it is not like I have been living in home country a lot, but still almost all the time I live in neighborhood of VNese community ;-)
mosquitoes are annoying thing, but in the North there are much of less of them than the South, likely due to the climate. personally, I do not care about 'em much as long as not disease season :-(
so your family is considered as 'Viet Kieu' right now, yeah? and how long have you been living in US? // kinda a bit curios, but if you do not like to talk about the topic, I do not mind either :-D
you know capital, i.e. HN, is worth to visit due to the historical landmarks and perhaps, HN cuisine. otherwise, it is just a city with very high population density. for me, it is kinda 'a pain' to live here, seriously :-P
btw, Chu Hai is in China, am I right? So you live in US - in which city & state? I have been to US before for a month and have been staying for LA. but really it was a long time ago like '03 or '04 :-D
