Solo Leveling is basically a typical shounen anime with a isekai twist. The pacing is super fast, the plot is all over the place, and the characters are one-dimensionally designed and dull. The animation is acceptable, but not as great as it should've been. Another issue for me personally is the opening theme song really didn't do it for me. It didn't hype me before watching an episode and felt like a bad mid-2000's anime opening. The worst part, however, is the main character. He is just the typical, boring, overpowered character with the same protagonist mentality that is common with shounen anime.

Goblin Slayer season 2 didn't do anything to advance the plot in any meaningful way. We waited years to see this second season only to get the same format. A bunch of filler episodes of them killing goblins. Is that so bad? Attack on Titan is yet another example of why you should never dedicate your time to any show for a long period of time. I remember back in 2013 when this released and I was captivated by this mysterious world full of titans. To make a long story short, I'm left disappointed. This show has devolved into just countless side characters fighting each other with minimal backstories on all of them. This show in general focuses more on side characters than the main characters and for that reason I can no longer continue with this story. I'm a millineal who grew up like countless children who watched Pokemon every Saturday morning on WB Kids or 4Kids watching season after season seeing Ash and Pikachu's journey, but this final farewell to Ash Ketchum is just a flat out slap in the face to every Pokemon fan...especially long-time fans who have been following Ash and Pikachu's journey from the very beginning.

This plot was initially interesting, but the ecchi themes ultimately turned me off especially during the final moments of episode 6. Additionally, Sagiri and Gabimaru are such bland, unlikable characters that they really didn't offer much in terms of relatability. It completely tells the story of Ace. It shows how Ace acquired his devil fruit ability and also introduces the Spade Pirates and the first member of the crew to join which is Masked Deuce who actually just appeared in episode 1013 of the anime. The story is great. The art style is obviously as good as the One Piece manga. It's full of the usual witty humor and inspiring moments like all backstories of One Piece are. It completely shows the beginning and end of the life of Fire Fist Ace...and his raging fire.
