Also I see you are a fellow INTJ (though on the net I behave differently more like an ENFJ), xD
I don't despise written stuff, I have read plenty of light novels (back in the day I read normal novels too), but I really prefer something that is adapted into an ongoing manga or has a complete anime adaptation.
I like having visuals and I also like stuff that actually finishes, xD
So full adaptation anime > manga > normal anime > visual novel > light novel > novel for me.
Also isekai is good, but normal fantasy/sci-fi is still good too.
