To be honest, I didn't get attached to any of the characters. It was torture to watch 24 ep of nonstop tragedy without cause. What a letdown.

I agree with your Akame ga Kill review. It would have been better if their deaths were justified. The killing spree was unnecessary, senseless and stupid. The story has a lot of potential but failed miserably. I didn't even have 'feels' when I was watching it. Too bad.
