I've watched every single season of Digimon, starting with Taichi's season, all the way to Takuya in Digimon Frontiers.
This one was my favorite, not because of the plot, but mainly because of the idea of the card game to use Digimon as partners in visual combat. Renamon is my overall favorite, and though at first, I resented Rika( Riku, in English)'s attitude toward Digimon, they became my favorite pair.
I do think that since it was one of the earlier anime, the graphics are not that impressive, and sometimes, it isn't a good idea to show crying men, because that isn't what they are supposed to
...
do.
Being Filipina, I watched the Tagalog version, and the dubbers used dialogs that made the series something where lessons are learned. I enjoyed watching it, and the part I liked best was that things didn't end too quickly. It took a certain number of episodes to cover the battle with The Reaper, and it showed how brave the Tamers were, when they decided to fight something almost as big as half the globe.
Its a unique story, and kids like me are sure to like it.

D.N. Angel is a unique twist to the whole "angel" story presented in most anime. In it, both angels are male, and both exist for two very contradicting reasons. Dark Mousy exists to steal artwork created by the Hiwataris to prevent the sinister power in each one from causing destruction. Light Krad, on the other hand, exists as the second form of Satoshi to oppose Dark and continue the legend of the Hiwatari masterpieces.
The story itself is unique, but it disappointed me that the anime lacked in the thrilling approach I thought it would have, based solely on the plot itself. Yes, it was a

unique thought to use angels as thieves so they can sneak into the night, but there was something I thought had gone missing.During the first few episodes, it seemed as if the same things would happen again and again. Dark would steal artwork, and prevent different disasters from occurring.
But as it progressed, the story seemed to change, first with the arrival of Mio Hio, pretending to like Daisuke only because she wanted to take his soul, next with the appearances of Towa, the story of Freedert, and Kosuke's ring. There were also certain twists, like the grandmother of the twins being Dark's real first love, and even Daisuke's change in romantic interest.
So I rate it as average in the beginning, a little above that in the middle, and the end as a great turn of events. Though the ending with Riku and Daisuke's kiss didn't satisfy me, seeing as it left things unexplained, I still give it a good rating because it passes as something I would like to rewatch.

Though I see why lots of people call this series something between Pokemon and Yu-gi-oh but much less entertaining, I wouldn't call it an anime I dislike, seeing as I actually took the time to watch it till the end. I think only Runo spoiled my enjoyment, because seriously, she annoys me with her blabber-mouthed nonsensical talk. I am also aware of the fact that being one of lucky few who actually understand HOW to play the game, it wouldn't be necessary to deny the fact that the gameplay and rules are a bit confusing.
It came off somewhat unoriginal or inconsistent, but it was fun

watching it. I also liked watching certain duels where the characters are able to think of ways on countering the ability summoned by the opponent, and the different uses of each card also fascinated me. My only disappointment was the fact that Alice was my favorite character, and everytime she wouldn't go into battle like the others did, it felt unfair because she was, after all a part of the group.
This series may have its ups and downs, but I think I will continue watching till New Vestroia.

The plot of Air Gear was very original, I haven't heard of any other anime where characters wear skates that propel them to the ceiling.
Being female, at first, I didn't much enjoy the idea of skating as a main storyline. But as the series progressed, I found it exciting, and I kept on wondering what would happen to Ikki's next duel each time one episode concluded. I also didn't imagine how one would be able to incorporate action into roller blades. After all, usually, people just skate around tracks and perform exhibitions. good, because none of the members of Kogarasumaru faced an opponent below the standard level, and the certain challenges the antagonists presented made me ask myself how they would be able to escape it all alive.
Even the sound impressed me. Normally, I don't mind the songs, but this one even made me go all out and memorize it.
The design of Akito's bipolar character was interesting, and the romantic, and sometimes even cheesy thoughts of Ringo toward Ikki turned into hilarious comedy. Though I would not recommend it for my age( I am a twelve year old), based on Ikki's attitude toward the ladies, this is definitely a must watch for lovers of good anime.

Kamichama Karin is one of the manga series wherein most of my opinions contradict.
There were downsides to this series, although it was good enough to keep me reading until the last few chapters.
Firstly, I read the translated version of the manga, though it still seemed quite raw. There were certain sentences I didn't understand, and I had to read them more than twice to finally get the idea.
Second, there were certain glitches. An example of that was when Kazune destroyed the ring of Kirio , and Kirio had to attempt to kidnap Yuki to obtain the power of Zeus' ring, when in fact, he

was able to wear it himself without having to cause himself the trouble of proposing to Karin when it wasn't even meant for her.
Third, the fight scenes seemed to end too quickly. It felt as if both only had to deal one swift blow, and then the opponent would fall to the ground. However, it could also be that Kazune was just too weak to keep the fights up much longer.
My fourth and last criticism is that both Kazune and Karin look too young to be kissing in dark places.
However, there are also good points to it, like all manga do. It was exciting, and I finished it in something less than a week, in all my anticipation to find out what happened next when each chapter concluded. The ending was pretty good too, and the whole manga seemed well thought-out. Overall, it still passes for my taste, so all of you who are interested in reading about a female Kami-sama, I recommend you read it, too.

Chobits is one of the classic proofs wherein people believe that robots are indeed able to love. The manga series may be more mature than what is recommended for my age, which is twelve-- like the fact that Hideki is used to seeing Chi without clothes on, or that he wanted a persecon to be able to download internet porn, or maybe even the fact that he wanted a girlfriend to lose virginity. I may even say that I wasn't able to read the series fully, because I had to shield my innocent eyes during those "mature" scenes.
Apart from that fact, this story is really

heartfelt, and from somewhere in the middle, I realized that it was impossible for it all to end perfectly--- EVERYBODY happily living forever after. At some point in the story, Hideki had no choice, he had to give Chi up, or give up what Chi held dear. It surely was a tough choice, but he made the better one, nonetheless, since, in the end, he chose to make Chi "the one just for him", and was able to start over. The artwork of CLAMP was breathtaking, and my first sight of Chi left me almost speechleess. She looked as pure as an angel, and she was stunningly beautiful. The plot may have been complicated, but CLAMP found a way to untie every knot.
I thought that in the end, Chi would turn into a human, like most happy-ending love stories go by. But in the end, she just forgot everything that had happened previous, and this is one of the reminders that everything in due course finds its next beginning.

This series may be shorter than my typical manga series, but the title stood out, and I decided, however short it may be, that I want to read it, and find out why it was entitled with a 99%. I found out rather surprisingly.
I though the 99% meant that the girl didn't really love the guy at 100% percent, or that she wasn't 100% percent sure of what she truly felt for the guy.
It surprised me to know that they already had a relationship. So when I read on, I found out that Ria thought Jirou cared more about his dancing than his own girlfriend.

I suppose that Jirou rocked in dance, but since he didn't move, I was unsure. He was kinda cool looking though, and passed for Bishounen.
The last part moved me, when Ria finally got the kiss that completed their love, and however short, it was satisfying.

Ouran High School Host Club may seem like your typical love story. Numerous boys fall in love with single girl. It IS something like that, and at the same time, something much more.
Hatori Bisco is really creative with the making of each character-- each one has his own unique and special trait, like the idea of "brotherly love", or Kyouya being a person who takes benefit in every action, or Hunny-senpai being the lover of all things cute, but in truth a master martial artist, Mori-senpai, the man of few words, the narcissistic Tamaki cowering in a corner--- most of all, however, the fact that

Haruhi is overflowing with pheromones, and appeals more to people of the same gender.
I also saw Hatori's idea that she made Hunny's birthday fall on February the 29th, so he ages only once in four years.
There are lots of characters in the manga, that makes it hard to keep up, but still all of them are interesting. I actually feel a kind of excitement whenever there is an additional character to the series, because it makes me wonder what kind of person HE/SHE might turn out to be. I was actually surprised by all of the lavishness the students of Ouran are used to, and it interested me to see how flamboyant they could get.
It doesn't lack in anything really; romance, comedy, and gender-bender, even medical aspects, fantasy (alice in wonderland chapter) or even action, thanks to Mori/ Haninozuka. Every chapter thrills me to read on, and I can't wait for the realease of 81.

Loveless may be called its title, but I promise, I could see the love between Soubi and Ritsuka. I don't particularly like boys with cat-ears on, but Ritsuka was just so adorable, I fell in love with his character in an instant. The story mainly revolves on Seimei's death... this was the reason Soubi became Ritsuka's fighter, this was the reason why Misaki, or Ritsuka's mother, began to resent him.
I really felt for Ritsuka, whenever his mother beat him or abused him for "not giving Ritsuka back." I personally think it is not a practice mothers should use to discipline their children. There are lots

of twists in the story, and lots of instances when a beloved one betrays someone he treated a friend. This matter complicates the life of Ritsuka further, and I really feel sorry whenever he is faced with more troubles yet again, just when he thought he had solved the last one. It is a relief to see that Yuiko, whatever happens, is always there to support him. Being a sixth grader, I feel like I can relate to the pressure of people disliking you because your family is torn apart, and because you have a dark background. I don't think this as a reason for judging people too easily.
Apart from those opinions, I think the action in the series is interesting, and I myself got hooked more to the fights. This is not your average love story, not only because love happens between two straight men, but if you want to find out more, it is a good option to find out for yourself.

Kimi ni Todoke would have to be one of my personal favorite reads. The plot is very unique, and I haven't read anything else that comes close to a story as good as this one. First off, the idea of a girl as beautiful as Sawako being feared by everybody else may be farfetched, but everything seemed to fit so perfectly in the end, that Kazehaya fell in love with someone the other boys would cover in terror facing, that he, the ever popular Kazehaya Shouta of all people, would be in love with Sawako Kuronuma, nicknamed "Sadako."
Not only is the main plot interesting, but

it also touches the heart, because the scenes wherein Sadako cries are scenes where you feel like you can relate... whenever you overhear gossips that are untrue, or whenever people say bad things behind your back... it felt like I understood the pain she felt. Not only the sadness, but also during those times when you read each page, and both Kazehaya and Sadako are in tears of utter joy-- I feel happy for both of them. When I read it, the story seemed like it made the characters come alive. Kimi ni Todoke is both a must read and a must watch, so all you manga lovers out there looking for something interesting, then I tell you. Look no more. Read it.
