Dog and Scissors is an anime as the title states, it is anime about a dog living with a woman with penchant for scissors. It is anime that I believe the creators were interested in simply trolling the audience more than anything. It wasn’t a marketing push, it wasn’t fan service, it was simply unabated trolling.

This is one of the most overrated anime out there. Unlike many other anime this one takes a more serious tone but it really devolves into just being an anime that includes the elements that are present in more serious anime rather than tell a good story.

This is an anime that will cause you try and drown yourself in a pool of bleach. It is completely awful to watch, more painful than driving rusty nails through your eyes. School Days is a better anime than this in that at least some of the demented characters get killed. This anime, sadly, doesn't have this wonderful ending.

Taking anime is groundbreaking in that it takes beyond immensely idiotic to whole new levels. The first start of this anime isn't bad, it seems like it would be a serious one with an actual plot, whether good or bad. But it then devolves into a myriad of mindless sexual innuendo with no concern whatsoever regarding the plot.
The issue isn't the fact this is an ecchi anime but the fact that it lacks any sort of plot. It is just a collection of sexuality with no assembles of anything near logical. There is no music in this, characters aren't developed if to even say that ...

This anime always amazes me, as to how the fuck it managed to get so many seasons. I get what kind of anime it is but it would appear that the creators, producers and directors had the following priorities
1. Nudity 2. Some More Nudity 3. A Little More Nudity 4. Much More Nudity 5. Some Kind of Plot With the 5th one not really making it into there. Do you long for the days of highschool teenage angst and being a complete moron? Well, good news then, you need help and this anime would fit you. If you are somewhere or anywhere remotely close to being a well adjusted individual then look somewhere else. If you are in that group well, my condolences.
The characters here are completely unlikable and horrendous with no redeeming quality, so much so that you long for a School Days ending to them all. The whole situation here honestly becomes annoying where drama is created for the sake of drama. You know how much of a shitty anime this ...
