I just think it's great to exchange opinions and ideas with people who have the same interests that I do - in this case, anime (particularly shoujo, romance, slice of life and sometimes a good adventure!).

JTSlayer | 11-27-08, 8:07 PM I don't think so :P "Inhumans" that drink the blood of other humans........LAME. Werewolves can be cool occasionaly, but Zombies are where it's at. I checked and didn't find anything to indicate that Clamp did. Clamp also did the designs for Code Geass, which I eventually got used too. The Clannad character designs were indeed very strange. I like a lot of different designs, such as Naruto, Gintama, Soul Eater, but shonen tends to look similar. Also, Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop. To answer, Michiko Malandro (Michiko to Hatchin) is one of the best drawn females I've seen in animation. Reply

kaleidoruby | 11-27-08, 1:25 PM Haha, the part where she wears makeup for the first time is funny too. XD I love Kyoko so much! I know that feeling as well... I can't wait for the next episode either. Some series I'm watching right now all end on cliffhangers, and so at the end of the episode, we're left screaming lol. I'm glad you're liking it more now! ^^ Naoki's mom totally is the funniest character, though I don't know any moms like her haha. I loved the wedding episode - I was so happy for Kotoko! I hope you like what the series has in store for you next. ^^ Reply

JTSlayer | 11-26-08, 7:12 PM How did I know you were going to bring up "Interview with the Vampire", lol. I only saw the first 2 Blade movies and they're pretty good. Hellsing's main character Alucard is merciless and Blade is troubled, problem solved :P I normally think vampires are lame monsters, but my exceptions are Hellsing, the Castlevania game series, and video game character Demitri Maximoff. Hellsing's look is not that bad, the lanky characters designs are unique. Are you a fan of Clamp's work? Now there are some character designs that make me cringe. Reply

kaleidoruby | 11-25-08, 6:24 PM LOL, exactly. I can't believe I kind of like Sho now. I hope Mamo's happy. He's always SO good - he has so much talent. And he's adorable, too! I love her anger. Have you seen the episode where she has the audition yet? That's my favourite Kyoko anger moment for sure - the way she reacts to the phone call. XD Me too, they have such a cute relationship. ^^ With the US having Thanksgiving this week, I'm not sure when the next episode will be out. I hope it's soon, but they might be busy. Does that mean you enjoyed the "Blade" movies? Why haven't we watched Hellsing yet? Such a hard question, I giving the slight edge to Gintama. I think it's one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. I need to watch all those movies again. I'm not too familiar with McAvoy's work, but he does look like a hobbit, lol. I haven't read any of Tolkien's books, but I don't want The Hobbit adaption to disappoint. Reply

If those particular guys had forgotten, would you still have not paid much attention? The Two Towers is my favorite, much more Golem. The start of the Helms Deep battle scene with rain hitting everyone's armor was incredible in the theater. Are you excited about The Hobbit being made? Reply

kaleidoruby | 11-23-08, 12:35 PM I love Skip Beat! Kyoko is hysterical, she's definitely not the norm. I had only read a few volumes of the manga before (I have the first two but that's it), so I wasn't really sure what to expect beyond there, but I really do love it. The only problem I have with the anime is that Sho is much more likable to me because of Miyano Mamoru voicing him LOL. In the manga I completely hated him, but the way Mamo plays him is too good. In Japan, White Day is a holiday where guys return the favor of Valentines Day gifts to women. It occurs on March 14th, and the "white" part has to do with marshmallows and white chocolate. Well, I consider V-Day more of a women's holiday, surely you gotten a nice gift? Wow, I thought that one would gross you out for sure, if only you had Xbox Live :P I've never played any LOTR games, but the movies are on my all time favorites list. Reply
