Oh for sure, the pacing was one of the bigger problems with the show. Well it still had it's moments, I did enjoyed nearly every scene with Nao...!

Though, Charlotte will always have a special place in my heart and remain amongst my favorites, even if I chew out the plot-holes at any chance I get. I think it would have worked much better as a visual novel!

Ah! That's because I just revived my MAL after years of it laying dormant to see people talk about Kaginado! I think it always comes as a surprise to people that I don't really rate the show that high at all despite my... well, love. I thought the story was kinda so-so and had a lot of plot holes and bad pacing. I do however firmly believe that Nao is among one of the best written characters I have encountered, her complexity as a character just speaks to me so much. I think, as weird as it may seem, that it's no wonder that I fell in love with her!
