(Okay, so I'm a bit of a perfectionist and will probably be constantly screwing around with my profile for a while. This right here is about the third rewrite.)
You may know me on a few other forums: I go by Aromatic Grass on Anime News Network and by Ko-chan on the ANN fan forums, though I am the same Pastachan you'll find on Anime on DVD. I've gone by "Ko-chan" through all four years of high school, but decided to drop the name after I graduated. This is where "Pastachan" came in. I'm a huge fan of Range Murata, whose private label is "Pasta's Estab" (PSE), and I love pasta/noodles, so that's where the name comes from and I really love it. Don't even ask me where AG came from; it's extremely cheesy.
Right now, I'm taking summer school classes at home (and working on top of that), but I'm actually a rising sophomore and graphic design major at NC State University in Raleigh.
Feel free to ask any questions if you have some. I'm actually a nice person, or so I'm told (and like to think so).

Yeah, I was wondering whether or not we'd be able to leave anything left for you to discuss or not.... ^_^' In fact I'm kind of worried about that for myself since everyone's already talking about episode 2 and I haven't seen it yet.... Great thing about this series though is that there's always plenty there to talk about, that's just how much is going on. ;) You're definitely right though, at the same time this is kind of a hard series to discuss because of just how much is going on....

Yeah Skip Beat is that one, I went on a reading spree for it on Saturday and read volumes 5-11. It's the most impressive shoujo manga I've read along with Nodame Cantabile. Volume 5 was really good, can't wait to see that animated. I'm actually rather stumped at who will voice the main character.. her role really needs a lot of talent and variation since she's so many things.

Btw you should check out Skip Beat, one of the better shoujo manga titles I've read.

Yeah she definitely acts older than she is "suppose" to be, I got a bad feeling about Grace now since that voice that commanded Brera in episode 9 sounds like a tough/rough Kikuko Inoue instead of her normal Belldandy type voice. Than you have her hacking into meetings and such.. combined with Sheryl past being um pretty much nothing... Sheryl may have an "all natural" body but I get the feeling the way she was conceived wasn't anything but natural.

Summer school *and* work? sounds like you are going to be busy... I too got out a couple of weeks ago, but still have a few things to take before I can finally sit back and relax.
Ghost Hound looks quite unique, I was really intrigued by the first episode and am very much looking forward to marathoning it as soon as I have the time to! I'm becoming a real Production IG fan, so far I've never been disappointed in their shows. :)
You know, I envy you for yet having to finish Nodame Cantabile! It was so good, I really, really loved it from the beginning of the first episode to the very end of the last one (and such a sweet ending it was...). It probably has to do with my own background, but the whole story really hit close to home, and it felt like I was on a journey with the characters. (I hope the second season will be as good!)
About Murata - there was this convention last week-end, here in Paris, that I had planned to go to, but ended up not going because I was too tired... and I just found out that he was invited. HE WAS THERE. (I hadn't checked the website carefully enough.)
I think I'm going to hang myself.

I too am happy to meet other Murata fans... I first came in contact with his work through Last Exile - I couldn't believe how beatifully detailed everything was, from the uniforms and the ship designs, to, of course, the characters... Such refinement! His artbooks are just plain gorgeous.
That's a very nice list of favourites you have! Ghost Hound, Witch Hunter Robin and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya are all somewhere near the very top of my to-watch list for the summer holiday... (can't wait to be done with my exams!)
