To summarize this movie without any spoilers:
You we're excited when you found out a new steak house opened nearby you
You went and was served a really good looking medium rare steak, which was also plated beautifully.
First bites tasted good, you were enjoying your time, the restaurant's atmosphere is amazing, the friendly staff's and beautiful music playing in the background.
Two more pieces of the steak remains and after eating... You spat it out, because of how extremely salty it was.

Okay wow, the heck did this one get an 8.0+ rating? Such a massive fan of the manga, But this anime adaptation can't even be called "mid". It is such a shame how poorly directed this adaptation is.
The pacing is so fked. Haikyuu for example, though completely different sports, The pacing made it still feel smooth even though they are still talking mid-game. I don't think they did their homework of actually watching a real football game cause of how awkward they made them look when they were on the field. I don't actually mind the 3d in this. The animation is fine but in ...

So here's my spoiler-Free Review:
I had always been a fan of Violet Evergarden. And when I saw that you'd be able to watch it on Netflix, I was already ready to give it a 10, even though I haven't even seen it yet. Visuals: as expected, It was a beauty! Just beautiful. Every frame is just mind-blowing. The cinematography, the animation, the art style... Heck, my sister even got annoyed about how I couldn't stop talking about how beautiful this movie looks while we were watching. Okay, my first review.
I'm disappointed. I really did try to continue following the show thinking "Maybe it will be better." (FYI I haven't read the manga and I'm writing this review based on the anime adaptation) Where do I even start? Okay... first, Story: It's generic. In a bad way. I know most, if not all shounen have this plot where a weak protagonist trains and becomes stronger, blah blah blah.
