Overall it was a relatively enjoyable experience if not for the fuckn overly-done in-your-face symphonical score. The music alone barred me from having as much fun otherwise.
The characters were OK'ish. The story was meh! aside from the great reveal of Bowman. The first episode promised a lot but that did not unfold as expected in the next episodes.
And again that fuckn strings and quartets from some fuckn orchestra fucked up this show for good for me.
The year was 2040 and the galaxy was flourishing with several colonies and advanced technology. AI was near perfection and the current top idol was the near-completed Virturoid

Another Wacky Violence OVA from 80s!! Goofy Story, Adequate Violence, no sex (sorry), and Endless Metamorphosis!
This OVA stands out for its easy going not-so-serious narrative coupled with Mediocre-Violence Gore and some mild nudity in the form of a couple of bare female nipples (meh!, right?). If the subtitles I watched this with are not wacked as much as this anime, at one point the main protagonist makes a reference to the actual narrator of the anime, who is supposed to narrate the story only to the viewer. This detail alone indicates the goofiness of the story. But again who watches 80s/90s OVAs for their story, ...

If you rate it anything lower than 8 out of 10, then clearly this type of anime is not for you, so you should not even be rating this. I put the threshold at 8 because, although I love this type of 80s/90s OVA, this particular title has some very minor weaknesses, which I overlook in my rating by giving 10/10 but others might not. I remember watching it back in 2000s when it first came out. I was hyped to see a oversexualized and gory anime. Then I watched it and remember being underwhelmed by it.
Recently, I gave it a rewatch and now I am not only doubly underwhelmed but also can see the clear reasons behind my initial hype and disappointment afterwards. First of all the pacing is fucked as hell. It is stretched like a fuckn cheesy slice of pizza that never lets go. My initial bad view of this show clearly stems from that reason. To all of you 80s/90s OVA fans!! You always heard that you had to sift through some shit in order to find the glorious OVAs from 80s90s right? Well, this OVA is one of that shit that you have to put aside in your journey to explore some great wacky anime from that era.
The story is dull, animation is boring, scenes with mutilation and blood look like they were drawn and painted in MS Paint (from 90s Windows??). I had to write this review to warn the prospective explorers of 80s/90s OVA, that this is not what you seek. It is shit.

On the Verge of Shitshow and Meh! I came to watch a glorious 80s/90s OVA, alas, I was showered with shit!
This anime is horribly boring and dull. The storytelling is on the floors. I dreaded to finish this. Action is drawn insanely bad that most of the time I could not understand whats going on (I mean I understood but it gave me headaches), or even lost my sense of orientation by some movements. First of all, what makes it a great anime and stand above other similar works in popularity is its great story telling and drama. The background story of a global genesis is interesting on its own right, but what really attracted me (and, I guess, anime fanbase in general) was the details of the story telling itself and the characters.
