A running gag comedy show about the metaphoric inner fight on forcing stereotype on people.

Sadly the show was made by the wrong studio. The typical Hisashi Eguchi plot actually really had some potential, but the production and the director made the choices to ruin the subtleties behind the peripeties by enforcing the edginess! That only made it appear as a regular adult show made for wanking. So a big part of the plot has been lost in the process. A running gag comedy show as edgy it could be, mandatory needs its subtleties to make pass the message behind the subjects.

This running gag artsy partly anime, movie and puppet show is a social critic about social annoyance and its offensive counterparts. Where we are in the eyes of a judgmental moron whose purpose is to make fun of and abuse the people around by pushing the uncomfortable. So yes, like other people are saying there are homophobic, racist, misogynist, ageist, etc. scenes, but they are in fact a form of denunciation.

A great subject that, however, the execution suffers pretty much from being too much draft where scenes feel way longer than it should despite the fact this is a short OVA.

Probably the story that I saw with the most quantity of subtle, serious sub-subjects while still going all out on a "comedy" running gag show! Which (the "comedy" running gag show) is obviously a materialization of the two main characters trying to cure themselves from inner frustations of the rejection of what they are, but that are stuck in facing the crude reality that people around are stuck in repressive stereotypes that don't want to evolve and care around. So why would they care about living along the decorum while everybody are being socially decided to be worst?! I think this the message of this ... very descriptive masterpiece series! Insanely great from the start until the last of the 35 episodes as even the musics are real bangers.
