Eguchi Hisashi no Nantoka Narudesho!

This running gag artsy partly anime, movie and puppet show is a social critic about social annoyance and its offensive counterparts. Where we are in the eyes of a judgmental moron whose purpose is to make fun of and abuse the people around by pushing the uncomfortable. So yes, like other people are saying there are homophobic, racist, misogynist, ageist, etc. scenes, but they are in fact a form of denunciation.

A great subject that, however, the execution suffers pretty much from being too much draft where scenes feel way longer than it should despite the fact this is a short OVA.

See that girl in the splash image? Somewhat cute right? Well too bad in this anime she's one of the live action segments. Around half of this animation is straight recording of real life skits. If those segments had been animated this would be a 3/10 but alas it's a 2.

Gathering all the jokes throughout there is a joke that doesn't land for every joke that does. They are not terribly unfunny or funny. Just meh. This was, in earnest, a waste of time. You may safely skip it.
You won't take my word for it and will go to evaluate it for yourself and you ... will regret it. That regret is only as deep as choosing tea and your tongue being treated to sweetened water.

HOWEVER,
don't let this Eguchi Hisashi no Nantoka Narudesho! dissuade you from checking Eguchi Hisashi no Kotobuki Gorou Show.

What really can be said about this collection of gag shorts? It was offensive, campy, nonsensical, random, and outright bad. However, I'm incredibly immature, so I just lost it at some of the gags and punchlines. This show is absolutely NOT worth your time, but if your curiosity gets the better of you and you don't mind offensive jokes, maybe you'll find a good waste of 40-ish minutes.

Just to clarify, this is not for everyone. If you like Monty Python and the like, and if you are willing to sink even lower, you may find some modicum of enjoyment here.
