if it's good, it's good.
dont bother reading the scoring criteria. hi there for those who somehow stumbled across my profile. It's pretty weird how you're here randomly right? dont bother getting into the criteria, it's just a personal opinion. anime scoring criteria: 10 : STOP RIGHT THERE! There may be no such thing as PERFECT score, well maybe there are some that i probably haven't watched yet but still, nothing is perfect! 9 : ‘Whoa, this is something else!’ is what i would say when I watch this anime. To be frank, a 9 is something like a tailor-made suit that destroys other people’s style, making my suit highly better and expensive at the same time. This anime really shined the brightest for me and showed me the path to a beautiful, cherished, and carefully made story packed with care and attention. I really appreciate the people behind these anime because it gives me joy in these hard times. Looking back to my past animes, i say that i’d definitely remember most of the award-winning fundamentals such as the story, characters, and more. A 9 really is the light that shines the brightest of all that is packed with unbearable pleasure and satisfaction 8 : Have you ever just thought that dayum this anime is wack but what if there is x to make it better? This is probably what it is. An 8 is something that i personally will enjoy, but at the same time would like to see improvements. Im saying that the anime still lack some fundamental, but what is portrayed really joins together resulting in a solid and well made anime that will shine and absorb me personally and logically thinking. Lookin at my completed anime scores, majority of them are an 8 because i personally enjoyed them and see the good things about them that most anime wont get. Still, compared to a 9, this anime cannot shine the brightest but is still there to show me the way to something that i might enjoy and pull me into the anime it self. When i mentioned something to improve, the anime can be improved with some changes but at the same time, it is doesn’t really give a major impact on the anime it self, instead it would give a satisfying feeling to me and say ‘wow, this is great, where can i get more of these?’ or so. In the end, an 8 is something worthwhile and can be expected highly. 7 : This score is probably the turning point from being a good anime to a bad anime. When i mean good, it’s good enough that it may even get an 8, or bad as it has disappointed me in some of its factors. Whenever i give an anime a 7, what i would think is probably that this anime is somehow able to entertain me without actually making me feel like it’s a pain to watch (personally and logically). Moreover, a 7 is something that i’d say ‘hey, this is pretty decent somehow but shame that it still lacks some factors that would make it so much better’ or so.Neither good nor bad but somewhere between those. 6 : Looking back on the animes that i’ve watched, i’d say that around 25%ish of them would get a 6 because it just lacks the fundamentals of an anime that would shine between thousands or god knows how much anime out there. Sometimes when i watch a 6 scored anime, i would actually think about things that would make it better and make them as a foundation when scoring animes, in this case i’d say that a 6 is quite the important score for me because that’s where i start to see more in other animes (foundation to score animes that i watched). Watching these animes would sometimes pain me since they are either not satisfying (personally), or just straight up a disappointment from the creators. In depth, the anime doesn’t stand up for itself, meaning that the people behind it don't really see what other people may think about it, instead they just stick to what they them-self feel is right. I personally wish that the anime would just appeal to other people, but mistakes happen. To sum up, the anime doesn’t shine among other animes but it deserves its own rights to be enjoyed, however it is not for everyone to enjoy 5 : On MAL, 5 was written as ‘average’. In this case, it’s not exactly the same for me. As I gain more understanding on what’s good or what’s bad, I see a 5 as a below average anime but the badness(?) of it is covered with the visual quality or just the main concept of the anime itself. For instance, an anime with a good concept would surely be a good anime right? WRONG! An anime with a good concept would never be ‘good’ if the producers and the studios aren’t properly building its base properly, construct a solid structure of the plot, and the pacing itself. Without any of these, it’s like throwing away a newspaper with a ‘buy one get one free’ voucher in it. On the other hand, a 5 would probably be a really bland anime with bland characters, and bad writing, soooo yeah. To sum up, it’s below average and lacks multiple aspects which made it a pain or a disappointment to watch. 4 and below : issa eeeh, bad, boring, lame characters, story kinda sucked, plots are made by people who just wanted to finish the anime and get over with it, and personally speaking, i wasted my time watching these animes and i cant be bothered to make a scoring criteria for them sorry. |
