I was astonished because your name has the term shoujo and have not seen those anime. I am mad fan of shoujo romance anime and I love both newer and older, in fact some 'old' anime has more depth than most of the new one, but don't get me wrong, I am not saying old anime were good, new ones are bad. I prefer nice art but the story comes to me first, it doesn't matter to me if the art is old or new as long as I am entertained :)

I seriously thought they were going to play the bittersweet ending card.

But no. There was that happy ending. Not mad about it but just expected something sad. Sea God is a bipolar being, I tell you.

Have you watched Shinsekai Yori? It's kind of like Nagi no Asukara though the animation and art of Nagi no Asukara is way way way better than Shinsekai, I like Shinsekai more story wise. I am definitely recommending it to you. :D
