It's ok but I think is a manga forgettable because it's not something I have never seen before. I like when those Bl mangas address issues present in sociaty nowadays like homophobia because it's a real matter that a lot of BL manga avoids and I think this is the point I liked the most. It's at the same level of the principal series. I mean, I would recommend it if you really like Dakaichi because It's a long episode of the show. For me was ok, the main characters are not a couple I want to know more about and I only saw this because its the perfect movie to put when you are doing something else. I found forced the main situation because what a coincidence that the country that the main is going to is the same as the country where Chunta grew up. I was fascinated with the art style when I found this manga because it looks so detailed and dark. So in this case the first impression is not wrong, It's a bittersweet story with a lot of deep work behind. It's always a pleasure to find this type of manga because add something new and fresh at the genre, in this case to the Boys love. I wasn't sure if is correct to catalog the manga as BL because is not the main topic but in Myanimelist is listed like that so Its ok.

Nothing New.
Cliché characters and an extremely boring protagonist. The girl with the glasses has more motivation and a better storyline than the protagonist. It was annoying when the protanist constantly repeated that she was lonely all her life in the beggining of most of the chapters. It's like I already understood girl!- And it was very forced that in the first chapter she managed to have friends and a new hobbie all at once. At this part of my life I can't stand anymore the genki characters like the girl with two ponytails. Some table games were intereting but I don't care about table games ... |
