Meh, I read the manga for only a bit (actually, when I stopped reading the manga, it was also the point where the anime stopped).
Art: I must say I was very disappointed. Repeated action scenes, mediocre gun fights, time delay on gun shots, but the character illustrations are ok, the background scenes were only very mediocre. All in all, for an "action" and supposedly "dark" anime, it just doesn't give that feeling. It gives it a normal setting, nothing interesting. There were also very corny action scenes. If your a pro hitman or killer, how do you miss 15 shots when the target is standing
...
still. Also when it shows Heine "jumping around", I laughed at the slow movement. I can't say much more about the art, but in short, I was disappointed.
Sound: This was also a point where I didn't like it at all. You know how sometimes you read the manga, and you imagine a voice for the characters? I do that a lot ,and I must say a lot of the characters didn't fit my prediction of voicing. It might be selfish or just my opinion, but I believe that Naoto, Badou could have had better voice actors. Heine was average, I guess it suits him, although they need that evil sound. Naoto sounds too soft, and doesn't sound like a character seeking revenge or living a life of revenge. Badou just sounds too foolish and when he starts going on a rampage, his voice just doesn't click. There was no opening and ending (expected) and no background music. Time delay on bullet shots. Like after a bullet is shot, it takes 2-3 seconds to make contact with something. This was a bad part in the anime.
Characters: I actually enjoyed each of their character traits. A chain smoker machine gunner, an experimental human that is cool and and emits a bad side, a girl training with the person she wants to kill (although this type of character has become more common now), and a old pro hitman that emits humor and seriousness. The drawings also suit them. Nothing more to say about the characters except that I liked it a lot because it is unique, fresh, and memorable.
Story: I must say, they packed in a lot in 4 episodes. Two episodes contain a character background story, and the other two are character type stories (but you kind of get a little bit of Heine's background story). What I liked is how they connected the characters together. Nao as a paper delivery girl, Badou on the bus and meeting with Mihai, Heine partnered up with Badou, the list goes on. They connect it well for a character part OVA. Only thing I didn't like was that it was really predictable. Every action and movement, I can guess what's gonna happen next. Maybe because the art is slow?
Enjoyment: I enjoyed it actually, seeing the characters and the ending of the OVA. It really captivates the audience (me anyways). The Naoto and Heine episodes really contain a moment on finding who the characters in the ending were. I enjoyed it while it lasted I guess. However, too many factors bring this down: cliche moments, predictability, bad action scenes, lacking sound, delay in sound, the list goes on for a bit. Although in my point of view, this OVA deserves a 3, just keeping with the manga, the great characters and some of the things they did with the story, made me give it a final score of 4.
TL;DR It gets a 4, I enjoyed watching it, but it could of been a darker anime, better action packed, less corny scenes, and maybe make it a little faster pace?

It usually takes me 1-2 days to finish a 24 episode anime. It took me 1 week to finish this anime. Ima give my opinion on what I thought of this anime.
I always like to begin with art first for my reviews since that is usually what I judge it on when I watch a series.
Art: It was GREAT until..........episode 10 and up. I don't know if it was just me or what, but the "basquash" and the ball bouncing got much slower and boring, the graphics got worse as it went on, and there were inconsistency in the drawings. I don't know if they
...
got lazy or fed up with this anime and just threw a crap job at the end, but the art was painfully bad. It was painfully slow, their movements, and there were less ball bouncing. The character art was ok, but it got worse later on. The art was what caught my attention in the beginning with the mecha and the choreography of the mecha, but it got into such a slow paced choreography that it made no difference than watching the first BFB match that was played. All they did towards the end was add some shiny trails, and apparently was supposed to make the matches more exciting, but it wasn't really. (The fatty was still fat, and then all of a sudden skinny.........I laughed).
Sound: It was GREAT until................episode 15 or below, I forgot. The opening and ending was very catchy. I listened to both the opening and ending everytime I watched the anime. The background songs in the anime was also excellent, especially during some of the matches. It made my heart tingle and made me want more. Then it got worse...the sound, like the art, was getting pretty bad. I guess the 2nd opening was good, but the 2nd ending was only mediocre. The background music played later was horrible and at most times, very random. The timing was bad, and it doesn't seem as interesting. They even didn't bother to change the voice actor of Slasher when he turned young.
Character: Dan JD, lawlz. I laugh at him. I didn't like him in the beginning, and I still didn't like him til the very end. All the characters are very shallow, and there are no interesting characters (except for Iceman, gotta love him). They're art was the only good thing. I mean, if they just kept the "dunk mask" on Dan instead of the overly retarded looking blue helmet, I might of liked him a little bit more than I do now. The character relations are horrible too. We see "romance" (LOL) develop at the most random times. Also, I really didn't like Miyuki and Alan. They were pretty useless in this whole mess. The appearance of Navi was at most random. He didn't contribute much at all to the whole anime. If they wanted Sela to like someone, make her like Iceman Hotty.
Story: Lol. I actually would of preferred if this was just a regular sports anime where a boy just wants to go to the moon to heal his sister's legs so she can walk again and play basketball. The whole, Nike saving the world and earth and moon crashing and destroying the moon and playing basketball when the earth is being destroyed is as bit excessive. There were many cliche moments. I laughed at the RougexDan kiss scene. The storyline started going all over the place. I don't know how to explain this anime. I can't even write a review on this without being frustrated. There's so many things to talk about without spoiling a whole bunch of stuff. It was just bad, and I didn't like it. The relationship between Dan and Coco SHOULD have been the main focus of the storyline, but then they shifted to Dan and made him the legend. Starting at like episode 15, they kept saying legend, legend. It was repetitive and not to mention that I have no freaking idea what they were talking about. When I first heard it, I thought, was he gonna play basketball to save the world? I was right, unfortunately.
Enjoyment factor: I liked it until episode 9. Everything went downhill til then. The forced storylines and the forced relationships and the forced dialogues and actions all made this anime very unbearable to watch. When I first watched this, I was like, oh yea, this anime is getting a 8. But no, it's not. Alan was just annoying and a waste of screentime. They made us see her practice basketball, and she gets to use it maybe once in this whole anime. Her "hearings" are also annoying. Then towards the end. We see characters teleporting to different places. One second they're at the camp, the other they're at the gate. The fatty turns skinny, then fat again, then skinny in like 15 minutes of the anime. The ending didn't answer MANY QUESTIONS. I had a lot. WHY DID THEY NOT MAKE COCO AND DAN TALK TO EACH OTHER OR HAVE A MEETING. Instead, they showed Iceman and Dan playing basketball. Gotta be kidding me. And not to mention who Dan ends up with is unclear (although most people say it's Rouge).
TL;DR - THE FIRST 9 EPISODES WERE EXCELLENT. THE REST WERE HORRIBAD.

Art: The art was very good for the characters. The bad part is that the explosions, the attacks and the Zaiphons were a bit overdone and looks really out of placed, like a live action movie using computer graphics. It would of been better if it was more natural. There was also very little amounts of blood, and they censored most of the killings. The Kor's are also very computer graphic like. It's like those discovery channel where they try to recreate a dinosaur, that kind of look.
Sound: The sound was probably what I liked the most. It had a good opening and ending theme
...
song, especially how they executed it. However, some of the voicing was bad, like the girl who was possessed by a Kor. Also, when a sword or sythe slashes someone, they block the sound of the slash or something. It reminds me of Hitman Reborn of them punching someone without the punching noises.
Character: The characters were mostly good. I love the art for most of them. I must say the three bishops, Castor, Labrador and Frau were the best and most interesting characters. They were well drawn, and kept a cool character image. Teito was an average character. He didn't really pique my interest in as a character. Just a below average main character, like Sawada from Hitman Reborn (This series reminds me a lot of Hitman Reborn). Although I must admit he does grow as a character, but it took him a long time that it makes me angry sometimes. This whole story is basically based on his growth, and it was really just him basically getting rid of his hatred and turning it into the will to protect. They made the antagonists look really badass too, which is a good redeemable feature.
Story: The story, was awfully slow. They kept repeating the same concept over and the episode would only move forward by an inch. There was no climax to anything. Teito is just so indecisive that it makes the story not go forward. I mean they spent like an episode of him trying to figure out if he should trust the church or not. He should read Bloody Monday and that'll show him that he's got it nice with the trusting. Then there is all these flashbacks. Some were really repetitive and really out of placed. Not to mention the locked memories part. Then there is the whole point of throwing out a lot of questions out, and receiving very little to no answers at all. I can kind of piece things together, but nothing is ever made explicit. This whole story seems to be only focused on Teito's development, and it wasn't very interesting to see. He keeps asking stupid questions like, "do you remember the 7 light" to Hakuren. OF COURSE HE DOES, he's a priest, trying to be a bishop. Instead of wasting your time asking stupid stuff, why not you just go and move on. Also, most of his actions are contradictory. One second he wants to seek revenge, the other he tells he shouldn't because Mikage told him not to.
Enjoyment Factor: Enjoyment was pretty nice, but also made me frustrated with Teito. It was a good series, actually, it had the potential to be. Maybe showing more of the 7 ghosts would be good. I gave it such a low rank because there was just so many fails in this series that I can't give it a good score. I came in with high hopes, and came out with a disappointment. What really pisses me off is the action scenes. They were horrible. This series is more of a story type, but that fails, so while looking for something to make up for it, I looked at their actions. I looked at the wrong place because they were horrid. They were as bad as the play the three nuns did during the bazaar. Although I must admit, I like the way they ended the series. Left out a big open to season 2. Hopefully they'll do much better.
Note: This was a shoujo series, so I guess I shouldn't expect much about the action, although they should of done a much better job in the plot.

What to say for this series... It was very bad.
Art: No, just no. The art may seem fine, but it really isn't. It is inconsistent and unoriginal. We see the creators drawing Tomoharu normally, and then pinning a hair tail and a squiggily thing up on his head to make him look unique, but it just makes him look overly retarded. Then we have inconsistency with the drawings. Some parts, we see the eyes drawn weirdly, or one scene there is a whole bunch of blood, the next there's none. We might say Kanade looks well drawn, but she really isn't. Not trying to
...
sound like a pervert or anything, but the breasts are all drawn inconsistently (no, I don't only look at her breasts while watching this anime, just something I noticed >.>) All the characters have some weird hair style, or their faces just look really weird.
Characters: Oh, the things I hate the most. This is the funniest part out of the whole anime on what Tomoharu did. Kanade tells him not to use Kurogane anymore. Then during a time when Shuri was kidnapped, he remembers what Kanade tells him, looks at Misao, then summons Kurogane. Kanade tells him two times to not use Kurogane and he just ignores her, and then at the end, he yells why didn't anyone tell me this. He is the most stupidest and densest person in anime history. Not to mention all of a sudden making Misao turn visible. That was the most random and stupidest turn of events. Then they make Kanade nothing more than an object of fanservice. Making her say lewd jokes or having lewd things done to her. She clearly is an important character, but...let's make the audience thing otherwise. All the characters have unoriginal characters or appearances. They are all stupidly dumb or retarded.
Sound: What to say, nothing really. It wasn't good or bad. At the end, they just used the opening and ending back to back. The music wasn't great, but it wasn't too bad. I mean when someone gets stabbed, we actually hear it. So it's "normal". The opening was ok, not really my taste.
Story: Story is horrible. We see one episode they're doing something serious, the next, they're going to Hawaii. At episode one, they throw out all these questions at you. Answer some of it, and forgot the other ones. We see characters like the Third Student President show up at the first episode, then as if they forgot all about her, decide to put her in the last two episodes. One episode, they show Tomoharu meeting Yoh for the first time, next episode, Tomoharu knows all about Yoh and who they're talking about. Then we see Yoh injuring Shuri severely, then we see them in a good character relationship. The story is poorly thought out, and it seems the creators are just throwing everything out randomly, like demons, mechas, ghosts and a Seto Gozubarou type father.
Enjoyment Factor: The only enjoyment I ever liked was the fact that I get to see retards running around in the anime and doing stupid stuff over and over again. It was, overall, a poorly thought out story.
