Gedo Senki doesn't come out until later in the month here but I look forward to seeing it even if it had a lot of bad reception.

Death Note, what an anime. Uh, I got no idea where to start with reccomendations but perhaps you could look into some Makoto Shinkai works. He's done some excellent pieces of work such as 5 centimeters per second and he may one day be the next Miyazaki - unless Goro improves. :P Hell, on youtube they have his short 'She and Her Cat' which is just simple but effective. Other than that I'd reccomend whatever I rated highly!

I'm a sucker for Ghibli really, but other than that I like just about anything with a good story to it. I'm going to try and watch all the Ghibli films before Gedo Senki gets released in england. :)
