Many people seem to like DKNN better. For some reason -- probably because of the memories associated with watching it -- I prefer Nichijou. Yuuko is still one of my favourite characters and the ED from the first part of the series is absolute gold.

Do you like Hyouka? I'm quite fond of that one too. All that scenery porn from KyoAni is worth it.

The artwork is really nice. Mine is pretty obvious, but Yuuko is one of my favourite characters. Though I didn't watch it as it was being released (hadn't discovered anime and manga then), I used to watch an episode every Monday night. Nothing could compare.

I know what you mean about Cross Ange being shifty. It gets slightly better later on. That first episode was, well, a shocker. I like Inou Battle too, but it's slowly degenerating in my eyes. It used to be a fun SoL about a club of superpower high-schoolers. Now it's a love drama with hinted battle elements that I don't think can be tied up adequately in the remaining number of episodes. Still, it could surprise me. I've read the mangas for all the shows you've listed, so I am waiting for the season to end and my backlog and RL work to clear up a bit before attempting it. Where's your profile picture from? It looks like a cross between Hyouka and Yozakura Quartet.

Hi. I just came upon your username in the Users section of MAL and I found we have surprisingly similar tastes. Are you watching any shows from this season? I'm watching quite a few but my favourite would be either Cross Ange or Yuuki Yuuna. I like the intrigue, not the angst (just needed to make that clear).
