To make it short, it had been a while since I got to watch a show with a decent scenario such as this one, which makes for a very consistent show overall.
A hint of mystery about the main character's pasts, easy to figure out yet properly justified as the series reaches its pinnacle. I liked how it was all made coherent without blatant plot twists.
Also, there is no supernatural, which is nice for a change if that's what you're looking for. I actually believe this show is pretty accessible for people who don't really watch anime by themselves (just like Cowboy Bebop was, in a
