The ending really was kinda lame. The scene with Tarrlok's suicide is awesome, but otherwise it's too sugary with all that bending returning and Amon's death because Korra SUDDENLY bends air and stuff. And yup, Mako's a crazy jerk and the final confession's forced. And I really think that if we speak on mental, not physical or bending strength, Asami's stronger than anyone else. She didn't deserve it. :(

I can't say I'm watching anything in particular right now. Besides PES (see it in my top 3 news in the right corner) - Studio 4C creates more beautiful things than ever!

That's not the point though. They never do things like that with anime, only with real TV shows. I mean, sometimes you get spin-offs but only from companies like CLAMP. I think it would get boring if they always gave everything away. It's better storytelling to have us get insight this way.
In short, I had typed up a large response on how the 'ant farm' theory doesn't seem very much like a tactic Bones or ES would use. There is a surprise prepared for the end, but none of us are in a place to discern what it is quite yet. Remember, the original series was two whole seasons... we're only on episode 13.

I merely suggested skype as a realtime way of having a conversation. It is the only chat client I use anymore, and I rarely use it for its webcam purposes as I've found them to be very awkward most of the time XD;; I do have AIM or MSN if that's more comfortable for you? I -just- rewatched the series twice two months ago, so I haven't seen it since then. That's an interesting theory. However, we've seen Truth as a child. And he wasn't in the scene. It isn't generally like ES to work that way. If Truth was a part of that, he would have been in the scene, like they made a point of showing us that Naru was. They made a HUGE deal about Naru being there. Truth is still a mystery. I am still holding onto the idea that he is similar to Eureka in that he was born from the Secret as a way of communicating. ESPECIALLY since Eureka is CONVINCED that the Secrets are not humanity's enemy.
v.v; The Scubs are the pink gooey stuff. I think its just a part of them. And it tried to swallow Eureka because she is Coralian and was part of the planet to begin with.
My assumption is that the Secret is a pre-Coralian being. In fact, don't the Secret bear a resemblance to a mechanical structure? Oh man, stick with me, I think I found the Truth. (lol) So, let's go back to the original ES for a moment. Nirvash, the original LFO, the Type 0, was found deep underground in a humanoid form, which they made a huge deal about. Oh it's humanoid! Well why is that? LFOs run better when installed with a compac drive perfected with the omita drive. Notice how the Secret takes all kinds of shapes? A fish, a jack in the box... it's trying to determine a shape that will allow it to relate to HUMANS! Secrets are pre-evolutionary LFOs, and the quartz that they want is their way of surviving, similar to a compac drive. Since in the future the entire planet surface is covered in scub and Secret come from the scub, it would be conceivable you would find Secrets buried deep inside of it thousands of years later, only that thousands of years later they have evolved into LFOs.
I'm such a boss. Only time will tell... though I'm less confident about this prediction over my others.
Elena is a particular nuisance to me, I've yet to discern her usefulness yet.

My entire existence is a subtext for all kinds of various issues. Being me is an interesting dilema. As for relationship issues, I have so many that it would be a novel in itself. (Both friendly and romantic, except the latter is far and few between lately of my own choosing. Then again, they're both far and few between, heh.) It is all a little bit dramatic for the internet. xD; But I will say that I don't find a lot of relationships, platonic or otherwise, to be worth my time as of late. They cause me more trouble than not. Perhaps you have some interesting things worth talking about? XD
I just watched it, and just for the record, I am on a goddamn roll with my predictions. I predicted the end of Korra almost perfectly, and I've been predicting Ao with a precision unknown to man! I am SO cool!

That is an interesting concept. They played around with those ideas a lot in the older series. Such as the idea of the Coralian core, which was that library place? Yea, no one seems to be sincerely moved by death or murder, which is sort of scary for me. I wrote a blog post about it here on MAL, check it out if you've got the time. I'm wondering if Elena or Naru is Sakuya reincarnate or something?
