I take it I shouldn't watch the Eureka 7 movie after I complete the series?

lol,i always thought that LN adaptations are tend to be better than manga adaptations...but i get the idea

nice review and Ni No Kuni FTW...but i didnt understand the thing about "Just a light novel adaptation? " :D isnt it just a light novel adaptation?

I was thinking, after watching the first few old episodes again of E7, they should make something like a small series called the Holland Chronicles or something, showing him in the military and his defection + stealing the Gekko ship and forming the Gekkostate. Would be cool and could expand on one of my fave characters :D

"Eureka is from the future, and has the ability to appear at various points in the past due to scub bursts – seems simple enough. But you know, that just doesn’t feel right to me – or at the very least, it’s not that simple. The two words that keep coming to mind when I watch events unfold in this world are “ant farm”. I can’t shake the feeling that this reality is a science experiment, and periodically someone shakes the box to see what the ants will do. The Truth’s shouted “You cannot change, this world, Ao Fukai!” could be his own way of saying, “What are you doing in there, Ao Fukai – you’re not an ant!” It seems very likely the The Truth is (or is very strongly connected to) The Secret that Eureka did battle with during her visit ten years into this world’s past but two into this Eureka’s future – the one she “took with her” as a last resort to save that world. But we also have another Eureka, appearing to Ao as an apparition (not a hallucination, as Gazelle sees her too) telling him that something very bad is going to happen soon, and that “The Secrets are not your enemies"."

Haha yes - us Aussie's are pretty amazing people :P But hey, you can use "mate" - but i guess everyone will ask why you're talking funny haha...

Actually, I actually prefer Facey over Skype, as I never use it (aside from the occasional chat with my bro's). But i guess that defeats the purpose of speaking. Gahhh.

On a side note - I keep thinking about Eureka Seven (I'm bored/watching the original series). With Truth, I have a hunch that he is the Secret that emerged '13 years ago' and that got swallowed up by the Scub after Eureka flew off (god knows where) with the Quartz. It explains why Truth is so intent on catch/squashing Eureka, as she essentially transformed him. Hence, both him and Naru have Scub within them. Sooo, therefore, Naru is human-Scub and Truth is Secret-Scub - and thats how they're linked.

As another interesting point, when the Secret (13 years ago) is swallowed up by the Scub, its that pink-gooey stuff - similar to the Scub that ALMOST swallowed up Eureka in the original series. Link perhaps?

But in the process - the core question is not really centred round timelines or which Nirvash is it, or even what happens to Eureka. The key question is what is the Secret? (You're probably saying 'well duh' :P)

It's the key difference between the original and this timeline and it appears to be what Truth is partially composed off. Gah I just wish I had another clue (ie. What the hell Elena was rambling on about). Ideas?

Well, an extension of the rumour of Elena is that she is the daughter of Anemone, as Ao is the son of Eureka. I'm skeptical though. interesting nonetheless. But I'll check out your blog post now :)

Mmm diablo is and isn't an MMO. Strictly speaking, no. But the game is always on the internet, so its close enough. I'm already getting a little bored of it, and am think about playing Civilisation IV again :D
