As a huge fan of this kind of anime, I want to suggest you anime Monster. It's 74 episodes long but trust me, each episode is going to keep you at the edge of your seat! :)

To get this club up and more active again we are looking for members who are interested in helping us with different tasks in the club. If you have lots of spare time, are on MAL almost every day and interested in joining one of the staff openings please feel free to PM one of the admins on which tasks you’re interested in. Here’s some of the staff openings that are available now:
Newsletter Team – This is the area we need the most help. Job of being on the newsletter team is to send letters out to the members of the fan club. Were looking for at least 15 members or more to help us out with this task since sending letters to nearly 5000 members takes a long time for only one person alone.
Member Card Makers - If you have some graphic experience, we need your help with making Member ID Cards and sending them out to members that request for one.
Club Recruiters – Looking for a least a couple of members who are interested to help inviting members to the club that are interested in the Naruto series.
Again please PM one the admins if you are interested in one of the positions above or if you have any questions.

Aye, the failure of education systems around the world rather shocking, especially when you consider the type of muppets that go through our respetive systems to become world leaders.
If you're after educational anime, then try Miyamoto Musashi: Souken ni Haseru Yume. It's a live action/anime documentary about the life of Miyamoto Musashi. There are also quite a few titles around that contain basic information about certain subjects, for example Nodame Cantabile is a pretty good introduction to classical music.

3. Thank you again. It's not the lack of literacy that I worry about, but the state of education in general. Most kids these days don't even know the most basic history about the country they're from, and if you don't know where you've come from, you don't know where you're going.
yes i enjoy FMA as well, lately it's been pushed to the backburner with all the others i've been watching but i'll get back to it. i've been heavy into Darker than Black, if you want a recommendation. it's total awesomeness :D. anyways, good luck on your search.
