For years the genre was infiltrated by trash fetish writing, and romance becoming very male audience oriented, I'd given up on getting anything as close to Yubisaki to Renren, it's tiring corny and cringe when writers think romance between characters needs to be 'plotified', as if two people need some kind of gimmick to fall in love, Yubisaki to Renren is classic show don't tell straight to the point, the animation is incredible, the monologues don't numb my brain, the main isn't some ditzy unaware archetype...I'll probably update this as more episodes release because I

We usually watch anime under the assumption that a story can't exist for no reason, right? Well come Aku no Hana, and as intriguing as the visuals of the flower of evil, the trailer and the first episode were, it just goes nowhere, it doesn't pick up up, the ratio of psychological tension to the events happening is unbalanced, so you have a bombshell moment that leads nowhere, it defeats the point of watching a show when there is no pay off.

My low rating is on account of how much I was looking forward to this anime, only to be slapped in the face with how...lackluster, boring, uninspiring and boring, did I say boring? yeah, so boring.

And that's about as much chemistry you'll get between the humans, ok, that leaves the feline, WRONG! I swear we can't have romance without some gimmicky bulshit that ruins the story.
Characters feel like archetypes, well, otome game based anime so go figure, it's just too rigid of a story to justify the lack of anything happening, looking forward to the next episode was getting to be harder and harder every other episode because again, you can't build a story around the synopsis, you need something more, I swear I feel like a mindless drone tuning into these stories, the romance tag is misleading because romance is best executed with actions between the characters, an intimate moment, a display of true femininity or ...

This one is a doozy for me, I like the concept, the execution? Could have been better.
It's bad enough we have this unending pile of Isekai, diluting the genre, it's worse anyone with an isekai fantasy can come up with an interesting concept and completely waste it, the anime is too caught up in the details, there isn't a bigger story, just characters that act in favor of their heroin when she needs them to, they are impressed by salt on food, the bar is really low, and soon enough she becomes this great at everything, so there isn't even a chance she'd be caught ...

Another one of those, cool premise, snooze execution, gotta coin a term for this case, it's becoming more and more common, got my dopamin all high for measly pay off, it's just unwatchable with how uninspiring it is.
you read the first line? That's it, the rest is rant I feel like if you're not at least a little bit unhinged and willing to write out of pocket characters then you shouldn't write a story reliant on characters, boring people shouldn't write character driven stories, Every other character feels like they're cardboard cutouts of the next, it's a talent truly, turning the romance tag into something so ...

Interesting premise, had it on my list for a while and was excited to watch it thinking it'll just be wholesome and family friendly...
It's another fetish anime! Which fine if your thing, but honestly...was just tiring getting through it when I was expecting something wholesome. Can make you uncomfortable, like you're watching something you're not supposed to watch... Terrible everything? I genuinely don't understand how this got approved, watched and liked.
The story is straight forward enough, for two seconds, and then there's a billion new characters without proper introductory arcs, so I cant even understand what their relationships and motivations are or even role within the story is, wacky out of place magic, overpowered lord demon, a heroine that doesn't care about pacing because she will do whatever she wants, whenever she wants, even if it means throwing all the sense out of the story out the window. To further elaborate without boring you to death, the pacing is absolute garbage, it's like hodge ...

Gokusen is the female onizuka-ish, there I said it.
I love digging from the garbage pits of hell olden years of anime shows that I can watch, without all the complexities of modern time anime, there's a sense of innocence and non-try-hard writing that makes me chuckle. Writer: And then, he doesn't remember anything that happened before the car crash, muhahaha, they would never see this coming. (Not spoiler for the show, just a tragically common trope in old anime) Gokusen is nice, but I can't fully judge until I've read the manga, because the anime feels like a sample, but I consider anime that makes you want ...
