Hey everybody. I'm just some unimportant denizen of the internet who happens to enjoy anime and stuff. Even though the time I spend enjoying these mediums seem to be decreasing by the day, this hobby of mine will surely follow me to the grave. I mean, I'd like it to at least.

I watch mostly anything, and don't care much about the genre of the anime or manga itself. If the synopsis or premise sounds interesting enough, I'm game. The genre doesn't, after all, make the anime. But even with that said, I always keep my eyes open for some good mystery/detective fiction. Can't go wrong with that after all.

(Insert rant about how yuri is justice and how anime is at its best when boys date boys and girls date girls here)

Anyways, it's always nice to see something that hasn't been done before. Female protagonists are a plus. They're rare enough as it is in this medium, especially in the few cases where they actually amount to more than moefied escapism or titillating masturbation material. Not that there's anything inherently wrong with that I suppose. It's just kinda tiresome.
In any case, the market for things like this has a tendency to occasionally grow stale. That is inevitable, Japan does have shit taste after all (I'm just kidding). The effort goes to that which brings in the most money, that's just how stuff works (Capitalism, ho!). Nonetheless, it's nice to see that anime can take place outside of Highschool every now and then.

I'm a big fan of TRIGGER if for no other reason than how their energetic and joyful shows like Luluco, LwA, KlK, BNA and Inferno Cop helps keep my nihilistic disposition in check. Shaft is a studio I try to keep my eye on as well, since they are unbeatable when it comes to style and personality. Ikuhara is GOAT.
I'll never forgive DEEN for what they did to Umineko. On that note, Subahibi and Unimeko are pretty cool, you should check them out!

I probably haven't added every single manga or anime that I have ever watched or read to my lists, but if I were to stumble upon a series that I've already finished I'll just dump it there later on. But most of it should be there.

My Manga list is trash and not accurate at all so please disregard it.

I am not a big fan of the numerical rating system, but alas, hypocrite that I am I use it all the same. Honestly though, I'd much rather read someone's thoughts on a certain show and the reasons for why such thoughts occur than to be given a meager number. Usually, one is not without the other but then again, if one can manage to put their thoughts into spoken words or written text, the number is in truth rather meaningless. Personally, I find myself changing scores back and forth all the time. I never quite feel like I get it right. I just can't sum up my feelings for a show with a simple number. I don't think it is possible to accurately convert your experience with a series into math. In reality, art can all too easily add up to more than the sum of its parts. A number can say little about the material itself whilst simultaneously meaning different things for different people. Art is a mixture of the subjective and objective both, and to pretend these can be separated and coherently reviewed independently of each other is rather daft in my opinion.

To put it bluntly: A show is something to experience for yourself.

To alleviate this, I have written a short summary of my thought on the anime in my list under the "Tags" thingy. Buuuut... They are hardly anything to go by. Many of them are poorly written and hardly thought out. I just have them there to give people a small idea of what my thoughts were right after finishing the show. But as I said, most of them are shit. But yeah, that's just my hastily put together, poorly written thoughts on the matter. If someone for some reason should be interested in what I think about a specific show, just ask. Really though, there's a ton of reviewers both on this, and other sites, that are much better at putting their thoughts into words than me.
