If you stick with your favorite genres you will always find enjoyable anime, just don't start comparing it with your favorites.

I remember some things from every anime I liked, if I re-watched it I know most of it, but all the others are a faint memory, it all depends on when I watched it.
It's a lot easier to find manga that I will enjoy, even though most of the manga I am reading or I've read are ones I know what will happen because I've watched the anime first.
It depends on the genre of the anime I'm looking for, to be honest I don't know if there are others battle shounen anime I haven't watched yet besides the ones I've seen and the ones I have on my PTW list.
I can still find good anime out there, I'm sure that I overlooked many good ones.

Hey there, I saw your thread for whether or not Rave Master was worth reading and noticed you didn't really get any decent replies.
Just wanted to say in my opinion, it doesn't start off super strong as it was made during a time where alot of shounen archetypes weren't so overused yet, but it becomes a great shounen that respects the genre much more than Fairy Tail ever did further down the line and I definitely recommend it.
