Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei

Freezing and Mahouka are just about the same show from setting to characters. Set in the near future, they take place in a high school where people of special abilities come together to study in a specialized course. Instead of working together, they have an pecking order of over who is better than who and everyone is narrow-minded about their social status. This leads to civil disputes that gets old quickly with "OMG, STOP SHOWING OFF. I'M YOUR SENPAI" or "Learn your place! My skills are far greater than yours!" only to be humiliated later. The main character in both suffer from "the cool guy syndrome" and a sister complex. They are labeled as weak and pathetic only to show everyone up and take the spotlight. You get that "Ha! That shows them for insulting the main character!" vibe often. Some like it, some don't.. Pft, everyone likes that feeling of being better. Although Freezing is very much more ecchi, Mahouka isn't afraid to show off lovely and plump breasts (>_>) every now and then.
