Shinsekai yori is one of my favorite animes for a reason.
It's not a shounen-ai or shoujo-ai in any way that episode is literally the ONLY episode showing two people of the same sex kissing.
Theirs no touching, theirs no cuddling or any of that after that scene.
Trust me when i say you're missing out on a great anime.
