I suppose I understand your frustration with the series. You said you dropped the anime? I kinda wish you hadn't, because I felt that the ending was amazing. Although...since you weren't too fond of the rest of the series, perhaps you may have felt that the ending was too inconclusive (many others think that).
I disagree with your review on Wolf's Rain. (I guess you saw that coming, huh.) Based on your favorites list, I think you just delved into an anime that you wouldn't enjoy, based on your taste. And yes, you're definitely not the only one to criticize the show for its "repetitiveness" and "bad pacing", but try to understand. The show, in my opinion, was MEANT to be slow. It is characteristic of most anime that try to explore some aspect of human nature to trudge along at a realistic pace.
To me, it wasn't slow at all. For whatever reason, I was hooked when I watched Wolf's Rain.
One more thing: how could you say that the animation was weak? It was fantastic. Can't get much better than Studio Bones.

To me, it wasn't slow at all. For whatever reason, I was hooked when I watched Wolf's Rain.
One more thing: how could you say that the animation was weak? It was fantastic. Can't get much better than Studio Bones.
i think the movie is what made the series even more popular
