Alrighty then. After I catch up with Until Death Do Us Part (nearly 100 chapters left), I plan on reading Angel Sanctuary. Depending on how hooked I get onto the series, it may take me anywhere from 3 days to a couple of weeks to read it. Massive difference, right? Anyway, I'll let you know about it.

If you would like to take a recommendation from me for a shoujo series, you should consider Mars.

Well, setting aside our differing opinions on the series as a whole, I would like to note that I only loosely compared Superior with Spice and Wolf strictly due to being adventure/romance series. Two series in which the central focus is the relationship between a male and female character journeying together and grow as a couple. Ultimately, I do agree with you when you say that they are very far from being truly similar to each other.
I am planning on reading Angel Sanctuary sometime in the future, because a friend of mine with very similar taste vouched the manga to me. So if I remember in the future, I may give you an update about it.
P.S. Never take MAL's user compatibility into consideration :P

Superior is your typical shoujo romance manga set in a medieval world with action, supernatural monster and magic. I am not fond of shoujo art, but I find myself excusing most series that I read, however, when given action/magic sequences, the art is an essential factor. That being said, the art of the series was a huge detriment to my overall enjoyment, and I couldn't find myself turning a blind eye to it.
The characters of the series were probably the weakest point. I found myself rolling my eyes at the demon queen over and over again. Right away from the first chapter I found her to be extremely unrealistic when she whimsically decided to tag along with the hero who was supposed to be her sworn enemy. Also, the hero who only bears arms for the sake of defense and never in aggression was too cliche for me to swallow. It was like the typical shoujo bishounen who seems like a threatening guy but is actually the biggest sweetheart.
The romance... blergh. I don't even want to touch on that. Too melodramatic and way too cliche for me to like, and unfortunately, that itself was pretty much the vast majority of the story, so I can't even note on the existence of a noteworthy story.
Overall, it just seemed like a shitty shoujo romance series that was too much like Spice and Wolf, yet nowhere near as qualitative. I rated it a 3, because there was nothing that I liked about, but it didn't really make me upset while reading it, or else I would have rated it a 2/10.

Nah, no problem:) I don't do those threads often, but when I do I figure why not do it properly. I think I rate more by enjoyment. That's the case with my manga at least, I'm a bit more objective with anime for some reason.
I've actually thought about picking Dangeky Daisy back up some day, not so much Koukou Debut. But for the time being I've kind of lost interest for shoujo as a whole. There's a lot of other interesting stuff worth reading, like you said Vagabond and Hoshi no Samidare or some other stuff I've put my sights on. I'm just really bad at actually getting to the stuff I plan to read or watch. Some of them have been there since forever.
I went on ahead and read what was available of Sekine-kun no Koi though. I enjoyed it, it's interesting. It's pretty sad, but I like trying to figure out the main character and what's going on in his head, even if he doesn't really know himself.

lol, when I ask something in those threads I don't actually expect an answer.
No worries. I have several manga on-hold for not being published regularly. It's a problem many readers have.

Thanks for appreciating the comment. He left a strong impact on me personally... that's actually the main reason I'd added him to begin with.
I also have a very hard time re-watching anything, to be honest...

Hi
You'd asked me for the reason I'd added Kyouhei Kadota, from Duarara!, to my favorite characters. The reasons are as follows:
- Firstly, I really liked the way he seemed carefree and apathetic on the surface, but always showed a more caring side towards his friends whenever they were in any sort of danger.
-Secondly, during the Yellow Scarves vs Dollars situation, I loved how he refused to fall for any misinformation.
-I also liked how he helped Masaomi get his act together, twice.
-Finally, I really admired him when he went against his own previous gang (the Blue Squares) when they went against his principles.
On the whole, I felt he was the least confused character in Drrr's cast when everyone else seemed lost in the chaos.
I hope that wasn't too confusing.
Also, thanks for commenting!

The reasons for my favorite characters that you did not like;
Neuro is on my favorites list because he, simply put, is an intelligent character who loves solving mysteries. His personality is always changing between serious and silly. His facial expressions always make me laugh, despite the fact that he's a demon. He's also amazing in combat. He's different from other demon's in anime, and his personality is very unique to me. Judging him should not be off of reading his description, but watching the show, for he is much better live.
As for Lucy, considering you've only seen 5 episodes, you can't really judge her. With the 60 episodes out, her power has improved immenselly, but powers aren't the only reason to like a character. She is just very kind and funny, which I'm a sucker for. She's friendly, but isn't one of those girls who're always crying. She's just a personal favorite of mine, considering that some other people don't like her, also. With all of her spirital keys, she is not clumsy, and a lot more useful in battle. She also is used as a stress relief for me while watching Fairy Tail.
Now for Yomi. I know a lot of people do not like BRS, and I have to admit myself, it wasn't anything special. But my opinion of her is based on her soley, and not the anime. Now, although I'm more attached to her other self (Dead Master), I find her very interesting. Although she may strike someone as boring, I see her as a lonely girl with lots of twisted feelings that are breaking to get out. In the other world, her being the 'villain' kind of signifies the negative thoughts she has. For some reason she just captivates me, and I love her for who she is, and who the creator thought her out to be.
I guess my favorites are best explained in my head, and can't easily be written down. But even if people do not like who I do, I go with my instincts and choose who leaves the highest impression on me, even if that does not apply to others.

Yep, you're very much welcome.
And yeah, I did think Elfen Lied was a masterpiece, it just took me a while till it finally clicked with me. XD
And I LOVE Trigun, always make it habit to rewatch it every year at least once.
